Aside from his obvious shortcomings... Hitler was far more brilliant* than Hillary. Hill is a travesty to American politics and maybe one of the biggest hypocrites that ever lived. Listening to her ramble about how she knows how the White House works (as if it only pertains to Republican corruption) is laughable. I'm embarrassed to live in a state that voted her into any office. Its no wonder Bubba was always out getting some "strange" all the time.

(Unfortunately with brilliance usually comes equal insanity)
I disagree that Hitler was brilliant. He was opportunistic and ruthless....even charismatic despite the flatulence. But brilliant? Nope...he singlehandedly prevented the Germans from winning the war with his interference with his generals. Some of the things he demanded his way on were REALLY stupid (going to Stalingrad when the Caucasus oil fields were in easy reach, demanding that no ground be yielded therefore denying his generals the tool of strategic withdrawal).

It didn't take brilliance to rise to power in Germany...the Allies had guaranteed that there would be tremendous frustration there when they foolishly assigned sole blame for Round One to the Germans. All he had to do was appeal to their sense of having been f**cked over..which was true.

His opponents were gun shy due to the blodletting of 1914 to 1918. He read this correctly, but that hardly took brilliance.

Well said - I thought the sentance 'He was opportunistic and ruthless....even charismatic despite the flatulence' was particularly pungent.

Socialism
(n.)" A theory or system of social reform which contemplates a complete reconstruction of society, with a more just and equitable distribution of property and labor."

And how is this "reconstruction of society" achieved? Thru government force (the coercive use of power).
I believe you have your definition of socialism confused with Noam Chomsky's "anarchist socialism". Idiots like Chomsky believe that socialism can be achieved without the force of government.
Socialist also believe that the "common good" of society is more important that the rights and freedom of the individual. Of course, few people can even agree on what "common good" and "just and equitable" should mean.

Nazi stands for Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, the National Socialist German Workers Party.

The Nazi party did start off in the early days as a socialist group looking to better the plight of the common worker. The Nazi Party that ruled Germany a few years later was anything but socialist. The Soviet Union is another example. They would have argued that they constructed a socialist society, but it was far from the socialism that Marx envisioned. Why? Too much corruption - especially in the ranks of the government.

As far as the "reconstruction of society" goes, any socialist will tell you that this reconstruction will generate from "below," or from those who are oppressed....mainly the proletariat workers and minorities and such. In the socialist's persepective, change would never occur from the bourgeoisie - which includes government officials.
Take the USA for example. Socialists would point out that our government does not act in the common worker's best interest but in the best interest of corporations, which exploit the common worker. For example, see how Bush caters to oil companies....the ones that helped get him elected.

I think that anyone who spent much time in a bunker with Hitler thought it was pretty pungent also.

We all certainly have to wish Coyote the best. Hopefully, it will just be a slap on the wrist.
I believe the key here-is that Northfield is not NY City or Philly. Working out of your home/apartment/townhouse in a fairly affluent community such as Northfield-is going to bring about problems. Neighbors are just not going to ignore different people walking in and out on a day to day basis.
Betty-I think you may be on target here.

I wish Coyote the best.
I can't help but wonder what contriuted to this situation.

I don't think (I truly don't know) that it was the endless flow of John's in and out of her house.

She did say in a thread that she loved tantalizing all the married guys on her block dressing in short shorts while washing her car.

Northfield, being the affluent community that it is, has residents that probably couldn't stomach that behaviour.
The wives were probably all stay at home and had their eyes trained in her direction.

Though I have never met her personally, I can picture her in her "Coyote" license plated car howling every time she left her driveway.

She genuinely seems to be the "fun loving type" and may have been "too over the top" for that bedroom community.

Who knows, maybe the neighbors were complaining about all the howling and lodged an animal control complaint, it might have been the cops that then noticed all the "john" traffic.

Nevertheless, I wish her the best, and hope she emerges none the worse for wear from this incident.

Lesson to be learned:
Conduct incall where you will draw the least amount of attention to yourself.

Believe me Im not a stupid girl, Im not saying that, but in this field, yes I am stupid...didnt know the safe ways to protect myself...

Hey, Coyote! Glad to see you back, and kudos to you for taking such a positive outlook on such a crappy experience.

I'm wondering if you could/would shed some light on the details of how they came to nail you (pardon how that sounds, LOL)? I work from home as well: I'm in the city, so it is a very different situation in many ways, but I'm always looking for clues and info that will help me make smarter choices. So, bring on the helpful hints, people...

The thing is, there are downsides to every location set-up, and none of them are foolproof. I think it was Betty SNJ who said that the smartest thing to do is vary it, but sometimes that's easier said than done...
