Actually Runway 69 started on Austin St in Forest Hills Queens. The residents protested then they moved to Times Sq. I remember it clearly because I was dating a woman that worked in the club in Queens. My aunt was protesting and saw my girl friend walk into the club and recognized her.

That is how I got started with AMPs as well. They all had the title Body Rub in the ad and either the address or approx location with number. The sports sections also had places like Teasers and Fantasy in Deer Park.

That's how I got started after I saw News 12 publicize it even showing video of mongers lining up outside the shops!

Downtown Manhattan, back in the 80's, on Nassau Street around Ann and Beekman Streets, some topless bars with beautiful young topless blondes serving up brews with full view through the window, facing Nassau Street. Ridiculously busy at lunch time with the Wall Street crowd having brews and quick antics. Also, back then, there were small porn shops in the same general area, downtown Manhattan.

Bogarts and Galaligt Sunrise hwy Nassau. Tender Trap Smithtown. Body Talk Centereach. There was a place on 25 in Ridge, can’t remember the name. Also in the 70s and /80s there was a place in Selden on 25, I think Biker owned, where you had to bring your own beer and buy it back.
