Well...I will tell ya'll this. I have been advertising on CL for over a year now. As far as I know, the only cops that use CL (or or really interested in busting anybody in this business) are in Sulfolk County, Long Island. Yep, they busted me...hadn't been in Sulfolk 3 hrs last May and they got me although I had been working in Nassau County for 8 months without any problems...they could have gotten several of my customers if they had wanted to...one smug bastard answered my phone several times acting like he was my driver...but they were not interested in busting customers at all. ALL THEY WERE INTERSTED IN WAS MY CASH...that is the first thing they said..."Where is the money?''...I truely thought they were thugs there to rob me at first! Believe me, Sulfolk, I found out afterward, is notorious for making all their money off escorts and drunk drivers...they took over $2000 "evidence" money from me...I was so pissed I started booking calls while I was waiting to post bail.
Yep, I posted my own bail...they deducted it out of my money and pocketed the rest, the bastards. I got a lawyer, got my charges reduced to disorderly conduct and even got $500 bail money back. But I will never set foot in Sulfolk County again...I still work in Nassau all the time with never a problem.
Never a problem in NJ or the City EVER...it is not where you advertise, it is where you work that matters. Just depends on the local FUZZ is what I think. And they could care less about busting guys...you don't have any cash for them to take (or not as much anyway). That was all they were interested in it seemed to me.
I have lived and learned the hard way. I screen calls much better now (they got me over the phone) and watch what I say. I am relatively new to this business even now...but you can learn alot in a year. I also never keep any cash on me anymore. And if I even feel one bit uneasy with a potential client, I don't hesitate to ask them to leave.
This is just my experience, I am no expert by any means.
Just watch what you say and go with your gut and you will have nothing to worry about.

You should give advertising on this site a shot. I visit the girls who advertise on here, and so do many other of the UG guys. This site has a huge loyal following. The world of mouth will give you as much business as you can handle, without the CL BS. The girls do very well, and you are dealing with quality guys who understand the game, and are respectful.

Okay Eddie...ya'll have just about convinced me. Watch for my ad...I am curious to see how much business it will generate. Maybe it will generate more reviews, at the very least and it is only $100, so what the hell. Right now only about 1 in 20-30 of the customers I see in NY post a review ( on this site OR on ***)! They are typical CL customers (which I LIKE very much, believe it or not!)...young, rich, good-looking, mostly professional ...they don't bother reading reviews nor have the time or inclination to write them it seems.
I like getting reviews....as long as I don't have to read them...it kind of creeps me out for some reason. And like most women, I tend to ignore the positive comments and obsess on the negative ones...racking my brain trying to figure out who would have said something like that about me!

Taylor, Welcome to the board. I have to tell you I have been here a long time and older women do very well here. There is a huge lurker base for older 40+ women. Also if you are based on LI, Nassau most of the time you really won't be stepping on the toes of the primary MILF's. Miki is mostly Manhatten, Betty who is mostly just oral is based in NNJ and April when she comes out of retirement every so often mostly sticks to the city. Both these ladies get a good buck for there services. You should do well. Once you have your ad up the more you post, the more interest you will have. Good luck.
I'm conceptualizing a solution for this and will probably have it within the month. I'll be contacting providers through their contacts on this and other sites. At first, the "system" will be invitation only but then, since the system relies on participation of many to work, there will be a subscription and address/account verification through various other means. I know about RS2K but that system relies on hobbyists signing up or past references and the sign up form is a little intrusive. My system will be "on the fly" and be capable of tracking contacts in real time. Stay tuned.
An online system or database would be cool as shit. Something like whitepages.com but one that actually gives you useful information. Roomservice has a call verification system...meaning providers and agencies have a number they call to confirm a clients identity. I would much rather go online to check up on somebody than have to make a phone call...(ironically, I hate the phone...and have a hard time keeping up with voic***** and returning calls from clients...I sure don't wanna have to extra calls).

I am a lone wolf, minding my own business, and I kinda like it that way. I just wanna avoid drama. Where there are women, fur will fly, this I know. I am also a nurse, who also are mostly women and, no offense to anyone, but the other nurses made my damn life miserable. (They are notorious for eating their young). I am not saying ppl in this business are catty or like that at all, I just like keeping to myself. But it would be nice to have a source of information.

PSS. Don't know anything about any "Eddie test"...but, if it is like any other kind of test, I can promise you I will damn near ACE it. I am one of those ppl who may not know my ass from a flashlight, but I will still do pretty good on a test. Good test-taking skills, reading comprehension, etc....same way some ppl can study their ass off and still bomb...I just graduated from nursing school about 5 yrs ago and still have that student mentality, can you tell?
