which beer brand had the following advertising jingle ??

hint- started with an S.

" _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ is the, one beer to have, when your having more than

one "

I doubt anyone, except for maybe Ozzy will get this.

On the subject of jingles, who remembers this one

National Bo, National Bo
You'l like the taste of National Bo
and while I'm singing, I'm proud to say
it's brewed on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay

LOL. Yes, PBR. I never would have figured you for a Williamsburg hipster. If you don't mind me asking, how do you fit into those skin tight jeans, t-shirts and thrift shop blazers?

Nah, I couldn't fit one leg in those tight jeans. Fuck them. I was just having some fun quoting Dennis Hopper in Blue Velvet.

Here's a tough one (OFF TOPIC, though):

Can anybody name a movie starring Clark Gable and Vivian Leigh whose title has the initials "GWTW"?

Here's a hint: a cast member went on to star in a very popular TV show about a superhero from another planet.

I'll bet only Ozzy will get this.

Oh, I get it: I'll bet seeker is much younger than me, and so he thinks these beer jingles that anyone my age heard FIFTY FUCKING TIMES A DAY EVERY FUCKING DAY YEAR AFTER FUCKING YEAR are some specialized arcane knowledge known only to the most dedicated enthusiasts.

You're kidding right. You must really BE Ozzy.

Excuse me: everybody here except Ozzy.
lemme tell you what ...the reasoning behind my comment.

a while back we were trying to solve 3 mysteries here on UG.

one was whether Alice Cooper was in fact Eddie Haskell from Leave It To Beaver ; whether Randy "Macho Man " Savage was indeed Chicago Cubs utility infielder Paul Popovich; and whether or not Madonna worked at the Harmony Theatre before achieving fame and fortune.

The Madonna "mystery" has never been solved...however Ozzy readily disproved the other 2 ugly rumors noted above.

so from a trivia perspective...he seems to be a "key" guy here.

hope that helps!

wanna take ashot at the 3 rd jingle?
