Steve Lawrence died at 88 years due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. Lawrence was born in Brooklyn and enjoyed decades of success as one half of the iconic singing duo Steve & Eydie. He met his future wife, singer Eydie Gorme, on Steve Allen's Tonight Show where they were both regulars and in 1957 they made their singing partnership even more official by marrying in Las Vegas.
Never was a fan of his music, but he always seemed like an honorable and decent man who took great joy in what he was doing. RIP.

He was actually 72.
Jones had multiple conflicting dates of birth up until his death. He was thought to be 61 years old by most media upon his death, but his family and friends revealed his actual age as 72

He had a degree in mathematics and became a high school math teacher in Pittsburgh after retiring from full time in ring competition in 2000. I bet he didn't take any crap from the male students in the classes he taught.

Reign of Terror
M Emmett Walsh, character actor who famously played Captain Bryant in Bladerunner, 88.

No choice, pal.
He was in everything.
Blood Simple was one of his best roles but the first scene that always comes to mind with him is in The Pope of Greenwich Village where he plays a dirty cop trying to shake down Geraldine Page, who only had that one scene in the movie but was nominated for an Oscar (Page not Walsh).
