The defense is very solid with a lot of top A prospects coming in a year

Yes, but that was a few years ago now. We have to move on. But I agree with you. I like AV a lot. I would not have gotten rid of him either but all you hear was that AV isnt great with really young players. Who knows.

Not true. It goes way deeper than that. We never cleared the front of the net. Most good teams have a good checking line. We did not have one player that could have been on a checking third line.
