I wouldn't call it "favorite" but you can get a whole decent chopped cheese hero at Blue Sky Deli on 1st Avenue and East 110th Street for $8.

The chopped cheese, also known as the chop cheese,is a type of sandwich originating from New York City. Found in bodegas throughout Upper Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Queens, it is made on a grill with ground beef (typically pre-formed ground beef patties), onions, adobo or other seasonings, and cheese, all of which are chopped together on the grill as the meat and onions cook and the cheese melts. It is served with lettuce, tomatoes, and condiments on a hero roll

Yep I would say 19-30 year olds during the 2 am onwards time period. They are coming back from their night out. The middle aged women avoid the fattening food or show up with theirs kids in tow.

The Hero Joint in Bayshore does a very very good chop cheese. Done right I would take them over a Philly cheese steak. I with they had fries there though. Fries would be killer on a chop cheese
