That's a great question and I wish I could give you a good answer. 1) I basically panicked and didn't want to resist anything for fear that they would find a reason to screw me over and 2) I knew I didn't have anything on me and all they said was that I was acting suspicious (which I totally was), so figured I'd just be polite and they'd prob let me go because it's not like I went into the room or made any incriminating statements either in person or even through text...
