Frazier wasn't a big part of there makeup this year, Lowrie on the other hand I thought was. They still need another bat, especially after harper signed with Philly. What a waste with all that good pitching.

Redsox, Manager said right now, Alonso is the Best hitter in Florida. Not sure how many teams are in Florida, but what a compliment. Now the Mets, even though they insist not, will send him to the minors for a few weeks and say the Dom Smith and Davis are hitting as well. Thats true, and a smart team, would send Alonso down for the first few weeks to gain a year of him being eligible for arbitration, but the Mets keep saying that will not be the case. Lets see how they lie to get out of this one.

Every team does it. sends a player down for 2 weeks to start the season, to gain a year of service. its smart business. We are just not used to the Mets being smart.
