You don't need a bullet, just a few $$. Even if you don't tip well, you should still wait until after the session to do it.

I think that guys should pay for the session up front, but not give the tip in advance. Unless you're at an AMP and the extras will only come with the tips.

i cant believe everyone has jumped down my throat just because i expressed the way i feel. do you know how many times a client and i had great time and he promises to take care of me for the little extras, like maybe sticking my finger up his ass and he walks away handing me over a $10.00 bill, now dont tell me you wouldnt be pissed over that. im not saying that you "should" tip in advance for every session but if you want extras or girlfriend treatment then you should pay in advance and if your a nice honest man then you wont have a problem with that

I can't believe you have such a thin skin that you're upset by the fact that a contrary point of view exists. I'm a nice, honest man and I have a problem with anyone telling me how to think. (Or tip, actually.)

The details of your work are irrelevant. I didn't choose your profession. I also didn't select one that involves me putting my fingers up anyone's ass. (At least, not in the usual course of a day.) Why should yours be the one profession in which I tip before a service is rendered? (Note: this is completely different from negotiating for extras.)

If you searched this board, you'd clearly find a thread several months back in which we beat this issue to death. The consensus view, which included many providers I think, was that tipping should occur, as it does in all other professions, after the service was provided.

You storm in here and dump your point of view onto us like a load of horseshit, and expect us to embrace it as though we've now "seen the light"? How brilliant!

A piece of advice. Listening is more than half of communicating. Either be ready to do it--and find out people may think you're wrong--or be prepared for people to say they don't like you. Doesn't matter to me either way, but the fact that it surprises you speaks volumes.

what besides that last line didn't you agree with. i explained why i was cutting her slack (a play on words) in the above paragraphs. the last line was just my joking way of putting it.

you and i both know a tip before or a generous tip afterwards sometimes makes a world of difference in service at certain incalls or with certain girls (sometimes even indies). it might not mean the service is more or as realistic but to the masses you know thats not the sticking point...... a finger or a tongue in the ass is all it takes apparently to a lot of hobbyist.........right? as i said if she's one of those then at least she's being honest about it. those like yourself would probably just never see her and that's that.

i see this almost like the "high end room". theres guys who just want to go in and give a big tip to secure good service. i'm not saying it works every time but to those who do it, i'm sure it raises their avg level of service at least a little bit. just as going to expensive agencies raises your avg. and i rarely tip before a session. only in an incall or quickie place (where you have to pay first) might i tell her to keep the change if there is any, and then afterwards i'll give whatever normal tip i'd give.

Personally it would be a cold day in hell before I'd tip prior to this type of service BUT.... I can also see the flip side because in many years of bartending, the guy who slipped me $20 at the beginning of the night was always guaranteed to get his later drinks very quickly (regardless of how many people were at the bar). Guess it all depends on the clients preference.

Danny, I think it's "To Insure Prompt Service" and, either way, it is not the true acronym or history of tipping. Post-service tipping is a show of appreciation. Pre-service tipping is a bribe.

By the way talula should be careful about those pre-tips, while it may make her happier, it is also undercover LE's dream to give her cash for service then to nail her for prostitution.

I've been all over the world and have been with providers everywhere I have traveled. So many sometimes it frightens me if I think about it to much.
But everytime I've had a girl express the interest of a tip up front or ask before hand if I'm going to tip at the end I've gotten a piss-poor session. Mostly they were hot and thought since she was the cutest of the bunch she could do minimal and it should be my good fortune to be pounding on such a gem...Bullshit !! then after a lousy session they bring up the fact that you said you would give them a good tip if the service was good and try to make you feel guilty about not handing over extra for lousy service.
I'm so glad I've found boards like this and others so I can stay away from providers who feel they are above their competition and deserve something for nothing.

I have to agree with OZZY on this one, although it is not the norm to tip up front in any other situation, I have noticed that if I tip before hand in an incall or spa situation the the provider seems to warm up for me & more at ease. I guess that once you get the tipping out of the way she no longer has any expectations of getting a lousy tip and can let her guard down, but if your plan is to give a lousy tip then of course you will withhold your tipping a until the last minute, not wanting to get a lousy session, so in retrospect its just a vicious cycle, everyone is guarded because they believe that one is going to get something up on the other, Can't we just all get along!!!!!

As someone already said, it's not what you say but how you say it. Just the thread title Tipping Is Appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! conveys the attitude that I'm sure is part of her personality. If she's hot as it's been said, so what. I'd rather see a plain Jane with a teriffic attitude and service oriented than the hottest girl around.

As for tipping up front: Never intentionally have, only if I did not have "exact change" on me I would let the extra dollars slide. I don't need to be tacky by asking for change, nor do I go out of my way to make sure I have exact amount. If I do then I do, if not she gets more up front. I have never received a better session because I've tipped (accidentally) upfront. I have always tipped afterwards if the session goes over time, even if it was just ok. I've also never asked for a discount. If she's out of my price range, then she's out of my price range. That simple. If anything, if it was someone who I saw on a regular basis, then I would imagine that some extras in service would eventually creep in. That being the case, then my tipping would also increase accordingly.

Over the past year I've accumalted two credits due to some snafus, one at a MP and one at an agency in NJ. By choice, I've yet to collect on them and I've used the agency a few days ago. Again this is by choice.

Build it and they will come: Give great service (and good attitude) and your client base will increase. It's that simple. If you find that you are not making enough income from your agency, then it might be time to go indy. You get to keep 100% of the fee AND you get to say no to cheap bastards.

I hear the girl mention tipping before the session starts I know its gonna be a dud. The only thing worse is when she decides to bill the session ala carte, as we go. I undertand that something like greek is extra, and I have no problem with that, I consider that an extra charge for an extra service, and not a tip. Normally I'll give about 20% for a good session, which I think is reasonable.

What I have found is that the most enjoyable sessions are almost always with ladies who don't even ask for the fee up front, and who smile and say thank you at the end, giving the impression that they would mean it whether or not there was any tip.

Talula, you may be an all-time great, but I think I'll pass.
