I don't have any intentions of market testing because I'm happy with my present income and my clients never complains about my rates at all.
Au contraire, their comments are all about how great and reasonable they are.
Now, talking about hiking prices....when doing incall in the AC area, I use a Hotel on route 30.
Well, it's been couple months since I've been there, so when a client called saying he could escape for few hours from a family gathering to meet me, I suggested coming to my usual spot.
Well, I was booking the room, the clerk got my ID and when I asked how much I could not believe it.
The place was 69 dollars couple months ago. Today was 249 + tax...
I went to 6 different places and the cheapest was 149 bucks.
I called my client, asked him to kill some time so I could find a decent priced place.
Needless to say, we ended up at the "Bates Motel" few miles inland and we broke the bed lol...
I'm not using that area for incalls until the summer is over, otherwise I will have to increase my rates to absorb the hotel costs.
