There are both "on premises" and "off-premises" swing clubs. Probably the most famous on premises swing club that allowed single males was acquiesce. They definitely hired girls and the girls only got credit for being the first girl a guy was with that night.

I was trying to remember the name of this place. They moved around. The hired girl were nice, and welcoming. I thought they got paid by how many used condoms they turned in, lol. They were always saying Red is for sucking, blue is for fucking, or something like that. Other then single guys, there were civilian couples too. They had a bed with a traffic signal in the corner. If a couple was playing on the bed, and the light was green, you could join in. If it was red, do not join, yellow meant ask.
I remember the first time I went. I told a female friend I was going, if I didn't talk to her tomorrow, tell the cops. I had a great time. It was the only place I ever found in NYC that allowed single men.

Maybe someone who's spent more time at them can chime in. My experience with swing clubs is limited to a couple in Manhattan. I was always under the impression that a swing club was a place like Checkmates or Le Trapeze where people go to play.
