You're welcome, but you're looking and thinking like a sane person. I wish they all were sane (I'm sure you wish we were all sane as well) but the reality is that a lot of women are doing this to support a habit of some type. A negative review can affect business. She has my tel# and she could easily have looked outside and gotten my plate # as well. There are things she can do to make my life unpleasant.
I've never mentioned the website to a provider and never will. Even if she knows about it, I can try and play dumb by saying i never heard of it. But if I tell her about it, I'm only asking for trouble if it turns out to be a bad experience.
I'm not oblivious to the insanity and malicious behavior that can occur in this world of ours, I have had my fair share of unprovoked lunacy. Some of it is rooted in substance abuse but there are naturally unstable people. I think this thread touched a nerve in all of us because of the invasion of privacy and lack of respect that Photo experienced, it's violating even with the anaomity. As far as making someone's like miserable over something trivial isn't there a concern of mutual risk. I have to admit I'm not familiar with the LI scene, it's a vast space compared to Manhattan. City spaces are hard to come by and too expensive to risk a feud over something so petty. I don't believe one bad review will not make an impact, no provider has a flawless record, there's always going to be someone you don't mesh with. Guys should also look at the reviewers record, is the tone always negative, are his standards unreasonable, does he seem like a creep in the way he writes. Doing research for providers should also include the source of the information to get a full perspective. This review system is such a gift which is often forgotten, imagine what it was like back in the day when the only option was to pick an ad in one of a few paper publication and hope for the best but I guess the downside to this new transparency is all the things we are discussing. You can't have it all as hard as you try.
