GOP plummeting

Marcus, the Republican Party is imploding thanks to a handful of zealots, inbreds and lunatics. What we are witnessing is similiar to an eerily premonition from President Eishenhower back in 1954. Rich Oil men funding an anti-government political party, sadly this was his party that has turned into what he thought was stupid. I love how the Koch's are trying to disconnect themselves to their Frankenstein now that they realized their financial interests might be dented by the lunatics they have been funding.

"Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes you can do these things. Among them are H. L. Hunt (you possibly know his background), a few other Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or business man from other areas.5 Their number is negligible and they are stupid."

yup. there was some reporting in the NYT this week about how many in the business community, which poured so much money into getting these nutbags elected are now funding efforts to defeat them in the next election.

They are like arsonists that are upset that the fire they set gets out of control and hurts their personal interests. They want contained catastrophe that only affects the citizens of the country that gave them the ability to make their fortunes to suffer. The vultures like the Koch's who funded their "grassroots" movement are enemies of this country no better then AlQueda and the sooner more people are aware of their sinister intentions the better we can recover from their plaugue.

Big mistake trying to undo a legally approved law... no matter what one thinks of it.

But this can all be traced back to how Obamacare was crammed down the nations throats and that despicable display the gloating dems put on when they followed that cunt with her gavel thru the streets of Washington.

Legally yes, but when you have a majority in both houses of Congress and you still have to bribe and grant waivers to get it done it leaves a very sour taste giving it a feeling of illegality.

Congress passed it, the electorate re-elected Obama knowing about Obamacare, THE SUPREME COURT said it was legal.
A feeling of illegality???? What planet is that feeling on? Get real. It is the LAW.

Why no mention of Obama's approval rating plummeting to 37%????
That is a Fox News number. Too funny to even comment when a Tea Bagging news source is quoted. Why not attribute those numbers to Fox in your post. Afraid of the reaction???
A typical Tea Bag strategy.
Though his numbers are not great Gallup has him at 43%

Why did you leave out 2010??? I don't agree but Axelrod thanked Hurricane Sandy for his re-election. If you think being forced to buy something you don't want is constitutional or doesn't infringe on your freedom and liberty you need your head examined along with John Roberts.

You mean the conservative hero John Roberts, who has voted the conservative line since being on the court, except for Obamacare.
I guess in your diluted mind Social Security and Medicare (both of which we are forced to pay for and use) infringe on our liberty and freedom too. That is what the Republicans said in FDR's terms when he got those through.

yeah, it's all Hurricane Sandy's fault. Lol. And re the 2010 elections, look how much "buyers remorse" is now taking place from it! The business community, including the scumbag Koch's are now distancing themselves from the Tea Baggers they helped elect. Governor's like Scott in FL and Corbett in PA have awful approval ratings and won't be reelected. Like I said, you reap what you sow.

This is no longer the Republican Party of our youth. The Eisenhower Republicans, etc. It is not even the McCain Republicans. And certainly not the T. Roosevelt or Lincoln Republicans. They both would be Democrats now.
These people now are the lunatic fringe who are creating a situation that most Republicans wish could go away, fueled by Koch, Fox and a few others.
And Emily, you are right. They are imploding and after this debacle they will create a long term Democratic presidency and stranglehold on the Senate.
Unfortunately due to massive and probably illegal gerrymandering the House might stay with the Republicans for a long time, but maybe not.
