Allegedly he was arrested for tax evasion. And they might have tried to charge him with promoting prostitution since his blog had several girls on there. Also he used to post ads.

I believe that posting that info will brake UG policy, that I do not want to do. He used to sell ads for escorts at known venues (cl/BP) and then made his own blog that included ads. He was nailed by the IRS last year, but was arrested this week by the state for promoting prostitution. His real name was in his blog and the papers. I believe that he had some lelarionship with UG since in the back of my mind I think that I learned one from the other years ago. (memory fails me about exact details)

Yes that's the guy. Interesting article. Notice that there was a very specific dates for the feds not to procecute further... "no further criminal charges will be brought against Mersey for promoting prostitution or laundering the proceeds of prostitution from January 2007 to Aug. 1, 2015" so anything before or after is fair game and the state is a different ballgame altogether. Holly shit...
BTW laundering means one gets paid (for ads for example) by money that is the profits from prostitution...
