JimyDR....interesting point you made. I have to agree what you're saying. To me....part of the fun is finding one that will not drain your pockets. When you're done-you still want to have money in your pockets. Let me ask you this, how much are you willing to pay Carmen Electra if she's available? We all know who she is!! Also, sometime you can't always find what you're looking for and sometime you're willing to pay a little more to satisfy Mr Johnson.

A woman expresses a negative opinion of a monger who has expressed the SAME opinion over and over and now I'm the damned villain...he had no compunction to say that i had a 55y/o hooker mentality...i did not consider it a put down either even though it was a cruel jab at my age (48)....there was NO DISRESPECT in my opinions

why should they care, if the moderator doesn't care?
the moderator sets the tone and steers the direction of the conversation. the same guys go to other boards and they behave because they have no other choice or they will be banned or moderated.
here the moderator has decided people should be banned for trying to "steal" advertising, rather than focusing on how to get more people to actually pay for advertising.

nobody wants to advertise in a hostile environment...BTW i dont the majority of business from here,just some...my career would continue w/o you guys...I'm here because its a great forum for discussion,honest,varied and interesting,call me old and overpriced,you have since the beginning...i will survive...but how long can UG survive w/o advertisers...you are cutting off your nuts to spite yourselves...THINK!!!!
Combine what Miki writes with Just Looking. The real problem may not be so much the insults, but that guys here are perceived as so cheap and so critical, that it doesn't pay to advertise here. If a girl wants $300.00 an hour to suck a fat old guys dick, she is going to advertise in a place where she thinks, she will get guys who will pay it.
Why risk losing business with the potential of a bad review, deserved or not, from guys who think they should always get better value for whatever they spend?
Don't misunderstand, most people here when reviewing I think are fairly factual. Good and bad. But perception on the providers part is what drives their participation.
A smart provider would lurk on the board, particularly the ISO sections, and try to tailor her services to what she thinks a decent amount of guys here would want, and honestly advertise those services at a cost she can live with. If she can't do that, she should stay away.

Perhaps it's posts like this which reinforce his "attitude"? Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I'm feeling the just below the surface "I'd love to get business from that board, but I'm certainly not going to pay for it".

If hookers think the board is good enough to post advertising posts, which means they actually do think there are paying customers here, anything they say about not paying for advertising because of the attitude of the place really is bullshit. If they don't think there are any customers, they shouldn't be posting advertisements at all. I mean, why would someone go out of their way to post an ad in a place where they didn't think there was any business? How many times have we seen girls come here, try to throw up ads for free, get banned, and then say "Oh, well I would have paid for an ad, but not now"? Do they really think that anyone believes that?

i believe that one needs a trial on the board before purchasing an ad....i posted here for a while before i bought one....the atmosphere was hostile to me but i love a good challenge... most girls would have given up when confronted the way i was...but, i believe in my product and i have alot of self confidence i have had many convos with slinky on the topic of provider safety....that why he created the lovers lounge...yet i still hesitate to invite skeptical girls here...i just got flamed yesterday for being an old cow...i know that i am not everyones flavor..a large pecentage of the guys here are not interested in seeing me...thats fine,i am a niche provider,i am not competing with anyone,i get what i get and im happy but to call me names is unnecessary and rude...i support this board with a monthly contribution because i believe in it..it is an honest exchange of ideas in a world where we cannot talk freely about our predilictions..it is not fluffy,it is real and i love that...I am a very active member of the hobbying community and as in the other world i support the community in which i live...i know how old i am,i know what i charge,i know its not for everyone so why do some guys insist on being rude???why would anyone want to put up with it??? we can work together to keep the free flow of the board while making it viable for growth, it is our club,our world why not work to improve it and honor slinkys efforts in the process...those of yoi who want it the way you want it without considering the necessity for revenue are just plain selfish
I agree with Miki. The bad mouthing of a provider who is making an initial post is uncalled for. Letting her know that she would get more business if she lowered her rate is okay, but calling her an ugly, fat, skank when they don't even know her is just plain bad. I once spoke with a provider who said she would never come back here unless Slinky banned a member. I believe she was talking about Vermeer.
