This place is amazing! part 2
If you decide to visit, there is one other thing to keep in mind. While the prices listed are “all inclusive” for food, drink and companionship, you’ll need to plan on taking some spending money. There is a pool at the villa, but I never saw anyone in it. The girls get to know the area pretty well, so they normally provide the daily agenda for entertainment. There are 2 very nice beaches a 10 minute taxi ride away, and every day I was there the villa was empty by 11:00 AM, with most couples departing for one of the beaches. Since most of the flights to the area land in early afternoon, any of the girls that are not paired off with a guy are in the villa to meet new arrivals. Everyone gathers back at the villa around 5 to get ready for dinner and the evening’s activities. The girls are required to dress for dinner, and it is the only time that you see all the girls at one time, and dressed to kill. The evening meal can provoke self-induced whiplash – I damn near fell out of my chair when “Elle” walked in for dinner wearing a tiny macramé halter-top and low rise jeans. After dinner, everyone heads out again.
Prices in the DR are very reasonable, but if you need to stick to anything close to a budget, if someone suggests the casino, suggest dancing instead. The casino at the next door resort is a short walk away, so on two nights of my stay that is where most of us headed after dinner. It’s way to easy while gambling in a tropical casino with a beautiful young girl on your arm to forget that you are not James Bond, and the queen is not covering your expenses. I ended spending about $600 more than I planned on during my stay, most of that being blown on Black Jack. The minimum bet is $5, and you look and feel like a jerk if you don’t give your girl chips to play. You can drop a couple of hundred bucks pretty quickly.
