Yup, even in 1993 when they had Vince Coleman and hired Dallas Green to be the savior, after the Torborgen-ator shit the bed. Only thing that blew up that year for the Mets was the fire cracker Coleman threw out Eric Davis' Truck window injuring three Dodger fans.

Domingo German suspended for 81 games. What will Cashman do, if anything, to offset this loss? My guess is that this ensures Happ, unless Montgomery is absolutely lights out during preseason, in the starting rotation.

They will try to unload Happ's salary and probably give MOntgomery a shot. If healthy - Montgomery is very good.

Its only 62 games so its first two months of season. Saves wear and tear on his arm, keeps him fresh. Not condoning ANYTHING he did to deserve the suspension.

Happ still has to go in my opinion, I'm sure Cashamn signs to Veteran fliers before spring training to compete.
Still need another bullpen piece and a lefty bat though, guess that isn't happening.
