I haven't heard Caverta mentioned. Has anyone tried it? It's supposed to be a true generic viagra (sildenafil), but at half the cost.

Also, can anyone recommend a reputable online pharmacy? I've used VR drug in the past with good results, but prices are a bit high.

Thanks.

Best price for L-Arginine can be found at www swansonvitamins dot com.
Page 2 has the Twin Labs bottle of 100 capusles of 500mg, it is just under
$8.00 right now. That is all you need, the others are too expensive and
Twin Labs is most reputable. The local drug stores charge too much and
add other ingredients that who knows what they do.

Again, take one capsule about an hour before, does not hurt to take
one tablespoon of regular wine to foster better absorbtion in the stomach, and very little water.

Test it sometime yourself when you are alone, in what ever stimulates you.

Try one time without this and a couple of days with it, so if you feel or
see any difference in degree of hardness.

Also add to your small usage of Viagra, it is synergistic with the Viagra.
You will not read much research or promotions of this by drug companies
since it is over the counter, just like aspirin.

Works for most people.

Its not going to make your thing grow bigger permanently, as some
companies falsely claim, but it does improve blood flow for erections.

Be careful with L-arginine. It does work a bit, but I've heard some guys getting major (and mysterious) leg cramps & circulation problems while taking it for a long period of time. Large doses of aminos can really mess with your system.

I did not recommend using it daily, only when you anticipate having sex.

If you have sex daily, you don't need V or L-arginine.

The popular myth several years ago was that using L-arginine daily results
in permanent increase in penis length and width. Then they charged
a fortune of this $7.00 bottle of pills. It doesn't do that nor does Viagra.

Also, avoid Arginine if you are susceptable to cold sores. I tried Arginine in my younger days to boost muscle growth with exercise and found they increased the number of cold sore outbreaks I had. Some say this can be counter balanced by taking Lysine.

Just be careful if you order online. If it sounds too cheap to be true, it probably is. I've heard LOTS of people getting screwed with "great viagra prices online".

There are some foreign countries that sell similar products much cheaper, but you are also more likely to get screwed over. They open up a website, collect a lot of orders, and then disappear. Or worse yet, get some pills that are dangerous or just plain fake.

Your best bet is to go to your doctor. Second best would be to go to a somewhat well known website. You'll pay more, but you'll get the real thing.
I talked to a guy who ordered generic Viagra off a website 1/2 the price of the real version. He posted on Craigs List. I got some from him once and they worked great. I saw he posted again today. So for me there generics worked.

Definitely buy generic and definitely buy online.
I've been buying generic V (Sildenafil Citrate) online from a place in India, silagra100. com for over 2 years w/out issue - just once a shipment was turned back at customs and they quickly re-shipped.

They have a free shipping option, always in a plain wrapper but requires signature on delivery (so it's not for all). They also have a minimum $99.00 US order. But, if you buy 6 strips (4x100mg), the price per strip is $18.35 or roughly $4.50 per 100mg dose and total is $110.10, so you meet the $99 w/out problem.

If you're like me and only need 50 mg dose or less, it's an excellent price ($2.25 - is less than 1/2 the cost of going through US channels or my insurance company which allows only 6, 50mg does per month and for which I have to pay $30.00 or $5 per dose).

Like I said, I've never had an issue with buying from them, the quality and effect is exactly the same as Pfizer V and the expiration dates on what I have purchased is consistently over 2 years future. Only drawback is shipping takes about 2 weeks for the free option. Pay an extra $25 and shipping time is cut in 1/2 - but who's really having a V emergency!? ;)

PS: They also carry generic Tadalafil (Cialis) called Forzest and a slightly cheaper generic V called Suhagra. The Forzest I have tried but gives me terrible headaches, Suhugra I cannot comment on, haven't tried it.

I ordered 10 100mg soft tabs from quality generics on 3/26/06. It cost 39.00 plus shipping from the west coast. They state 10 to 14 business days for delivery. I haven't received them yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that i wasn't scammed.

I have tried both Viagra and Lavetra and think Lavetra is better. Viagra has some side effects which are not very nice. With me my head sweats and my sinuses will drip but you will get it up for hours no matter how many times you pop. With Lavetra the symptoms are no where near as bad. With both you can party all night. I took some and went to a strip club. Banged two strippers and the second time around I was as strong as the first. Went to a pub later...because I was out of money...and picked up a girl I knew. Took her home and banged her....and later that night still had an erection.

I'm 47, don't have ED, but I do use V recreationally. I get it from a S. American company called Health Effects (http://www.health-effects.net). Great service, good prices. They ship the asian version called Kamagra. I take full 50mg doses and get only a bit of a stuffy nose as a side effect. Since I go for longevity, not multiples, my trick is to come early in the day, then eat a pill an hour before the date. I can go for an hour or more like that.

If your looking for something that will keep you hard, and don't mind giving yourself an injection in your penis, then try Caverject or Edex (alprostadil). It will get you hard, and keep you hard for a couple of hours depending on your dosage...even after you've popped.
If the thought of giving yourself an injection is too much to overcome, Alprostadil also comes in a penile supository called MUSE.

One might add that both Caverject and MUSE are only available via a physician's prescription and most physicians take writing those prescriptions seriously since there can be a couple of rather nasty side effects with either product. Although MUSE has a somewhat better appeal than does Caverject since no injection is involved, MUSE very commonly causes significant discomfort as well as a burning sensation in the urethra when inserted. Both products are also associated with an increased possibility of prolonged erection (4 hours or longer). Although at first thought some guys might smile at the possibility of a four hour erection, in reality that can be rather dangerous resulting in thrombus (blood clot) formation in the corpora cavernosa. Let's just say that is one side effect that would not make you a happy camper.

I agree with Loco. The side effects could be serious if the right dosage is not administered. Erections lasting longer than 4 hours could cause Priapism or Peyronie's disease (extreme curvature of the penis). But your doctor will be certain to explain the dangers of this medication before he prescribes it to you. As a matter of fact, he will insist that he give you the first injection during an office visit so that he may monitor the effects and determine the proper dosage for you. If you've gone through all the pills, and found them to have little or no effect, then Alprostadil is the way to go. I've been using it for serveral years now, and I couldn't be happier with it. It's also covered by my insurance provider whereas Viagra and others are not.

All this discussion -- and some less than rock hard performance with my favorite UTR massage therapist lately -- prompted me to call my physician today and ask about Viagra. He is giving me some 15 mg samples tomorrow, which he suggested I cut in half. But given what I've read here (no one has even mentioned a dose below 25 mg) shouldn't I just go ahead and start with 15 mg? What do you guys think?

I checked with Dr. Nick Riviera from the Simpsons and he said you should listen to your Dr. and not complete strangers for medical advice, or else we might think you're a bonehead.

The label on my viagra says DO NOT TAKE WITH GRAPEFRUIT JUICE. So of course I researched it and it turns out that grapefruit juice increases the level of viagra absorbed into the blood. Unfortunately it also decreases the absorbtion rate so it thakes longer to absorb but the amount absorbed is higher.

Has anyone tried the combination yet?

Never tried it, but for some odd reason grapefruit juice (and some other juices) are known to interfere or cause strange side effects with medicine.

For me, the benefits of the viagra were not worth the horrible side effects (headache, stuffy nose, general crappy feeling).

You do have to be careful with viagra and other drugs & whatnot. Viagra causes your blood pressure to drop and combined with other things that have similar effects, it can kill you. Just keep in mind anything else you are taking, and obey the warnings - or you could end up in bad shape.
