SOP for NYC LE john Strings

Overheard a conversation between a young female NYC cop and a retired female cop the couple weeks ago. They ran into each other at a well known coffee shop and I happened to be nearby doing some stuff on my laptop. She asked her what was new and she (the younger) said that she was being trained for Prostitution Stings. So she (older) asks: "So what's the procedure?"

1. They pick an area where it matters to the neighborhood — in this case it will be Richmond. Hunts point is a lost cause and/or nobody really cares, so they pretty much ignore it.

2. Stings will start when the weather gets warmer.

3. She will not have any weapons on her and she will be wearing a wire.

4. There will be another cop nearby that she said will be "ghosting ." He will be "sleeping" nearby dressed as a homeless guy. He is there only in case she runs into trouble and he will be armed. He will not make the arrests and as the bust goes down he will not be involved — after all he is just a homeless guy.

5. When the john solicits her, 2 other cops will show up and will cuff both the john and her (she is cuffed too — after all as far as anyone witnessing this, such as other potential johns, she is a prostitute) and take them both away in the same cop car. The ghost cop will remain.

6. When the vehicle is just out of sight she will get out and walk back to her spot near the "homeless guy."

7. Repeats until shift is over or until no johns show up for awhile.

8. She will testify in court if needed (most guys will take a plea); her name will be sealed in court records.

When you say Richmond, do you mean Richmond Hill? The NYPD is still doing motel stings too. I responded to an ad on a site i should know better than to trust and the next morning I got a text with pic saying this the NYPD blah blah blah... Reason I'm asking if its Richmond Hill, is because that was the area the ad was posted in when i responded to it.

That is how they allways did thier sting .... nothing new. They ask you what you want and wait till you make a request and offer then you get locked up

Decoy said "Richmond". I'm not familiar with Queens (other than Flushing) and obviously I couldn't ask her to elaborate further.
Since she mentioned warmer weather I assumed she meant outdoor SW sting.

Yes but there is a Richmond Hill area. I'm assuming he wasn't in Staten Island when he heard this convo. If he was in Queens I would assume it would be in Queens. Anyway be careful extra careful in Richmond Hill and in Staten Island.

Staten Island was officially called that in 1975. Prior to that it was called the Borough of Richmond. I think (without proof) that if she meant what is now officially called Staten Island she would have said Staten Island. Maybe when someone who works in Queens is going to Richmond Hill they say Richmond.

Being from Queens we always referred to it as Richmond Hill. If they work in that area day in and day out of course it's understood and no need to add the Hill. Probably not going to Target a whole borough at once.

I have some cousins that grew up there and still refer to it as Richmond Hill. Of course one just turned 60 and the other is close behind, so there may have been a generational change over the last 35+ years

That is the procedure for a street sting. A cop will always try to get you to say what you want and will never get into your car. I haven't picked up a street girl in many years but when I used to indulge I would pull up say hi. When she would ask me what I wanted I would say get in and we'll talk about it. I have a nice car and am wearing a suit the girl would always just get in. A cop will not.

Perhaps my question has been addressed before, but I usually do not read threads on topics of LE busts. I stick to UTRs that are limited in who they see. That is until my recent deviation from my hobby MO. The desire for new flesh that is not Asian had me contacting new and unknown providers of other ethnicity.

In a few instances I noticed something seemed off with the audio quality of the call, as if either a recording device was in use or perhaps the person on the other end of the line had the call on speaker. In either case I was spooked and did not proceed with an appointment. In most cases I refrained from partaking due to too much attitude on the phone for merely trying to get information on services offered.

One question is whether LE uses real working women as decoys? Also, why would a provider put a call from a John on speakerphone for anyone within proximity to hear her conversation? If she were driving in a car alone, I would understand, otherwise it is incomprehensible to me. As stated by another the SOP described in this thread is designed for SWs, does anyone know the SOP for hotel or incall setups. Inquiring minds want to know.

Perhaps I will just stick to my regular Asian mistresses- through the years they have treated me exceptionally well. The grass is not greener on the other side.

I just happen to agree with you. I fell in love with Asians and there was none other for me since I laid eyes on one in a movie about 100 years ago. (maybe not that long ago LOL)

I grew up in a really white neighborhood and had to travel 20 miles to see a black or Hispanic person. Asians were non-existent and I had to go to the library and check out a National Geographic Magazine or an encyclopedia to just gawk at the exoticness that oozed out of an Asian female picture.

I finally left that "whitey" neighborhood and came to New York City and made a bee-line to Chinatown but the Asians were exclusive back then. They just did not mix with westerners aside from John Lennon and Yoko Ono. I mean Asian and others just was not happening big time.

I remember wandering into an Asian gift store in my early teens and there was an Asian mom and pop and behind the counter was their young Asian goddess daughter with porcelain white skin. I was transfixed on her, gawking, staring, hiding behind the teapots thinking I was discreet with a teenage erection and mom and pop banned me from the store even though I always made sure to buy candy or something. I remember being so overwhelmed by her exoticness -- it was baffling -- I mean I gawked at her in such a way that I felt that she possessed an allure so far beyond any woman I had ever seen before. That was my first live encounter with an Asian beauty.

I later got a job and money and good clothes and decided to infiltrate Chinatown. At that time NYC Chinatown was not like today with mainland Chinese -- mostly Fujianese. It was a more Hong Kong Chinatown. I chased down another Asian goddess in the street but I was well-dressed and groomed and not gawking and respectable this time. she was a few years older than me, like a perfectly ripened luscious, succulent exotic fruit. And this young man or really still a boy engaged her with proper manners and sincerity and respectability and she realized that and quite intelligently she sized me up and spoke to me. She said "look, boy, let me set you straight. We Chinese only go with our own people. In fact my parents decide who I will see and eventually marry. You look like a nice boy, polite well-dressed and intelligent. But even if I liked you, my parents would have a heart-attack if I went with you. let me just save you from wasting your time around here and you should see your own women." I politely thanked her for being so polite and erudite and not just ignoring me and honestly sharing her views.

I found later that the Koreans were more willing to mix it up and I met some Thailand and Indonesian women and a Vietnam beauty who was quite willing but I had to be interviewed by her older brother and he denied access. We both cried. As time went on, tons of Asians entered the USA and they were not exclusive at all. They liked Americans -- whether it be for green cards or just for integration into society and the comfort of being under the guidance and protection of a local.

Massage parlors popped up all over the place and it became the age of "Asian Love." And for the most part they seem to have more femininity and submissiveness -- I said "for the most part." Now, they have learned the ways of the west, learned to eat more meat, became a little less soft and fine but the DNA is still there and they have integrated and the stark difference between Asian and western women is no longer with such a deep contrast but it is still there. And if you travel to Asian countries where the women still are traditional, you will enjoy the real original Asian female spirit.

Brother- it is quite amazing the parallels in how we discovered our appreciation of Asian women. My upbringing was not as cloistered, but my exposure was the same- through an Asian shopkeeper's family in Chinatown. In my days after family shopping on Orchid Street my intrepid father who likes exotic cuisine would treat us to a meal in Chinatown. Real Chinese food he called it. The desire only grew from there, and exposure in college to Asian gals that could not date outside their race only increased my desire to pursue this forbidden fruit. Alas after I popped my cherry with an Asian lass, this became my defacto basis for carnal bliss.

The days where some LE guy wearing some large headset and a reel to reel tape recorder both connected to the telephone line with alligator clips are long gone. There is no reason today why the audio characteristics of a recorded line will be any different from that of a line that isn't being recorded. Also note that in the Bust the Johns stings a few years back, where Nassau LE bust 100 johns in an escort decoy, no recordings were made.

As far as speaker phone, I put mine iphone on speaker a lot when I am doing another task, sometimes as menial as making a cup of tea or coffee, while talking on the phone or perhaps I just do not want to be holding the phone up to my ear
