Reddit… Underutilized opportunities

Holy fuck!!! So there is a subreddit called “sexworkersonly” it is amazing. As a lurker you have to be silent and just absorb the information, but it’s a behind the scenes look at the industry unlike I’ve ever seen. Hopefully we don’t get some dumbasses who join and fuck it up for the rest of us, but I had to share. It’s like a reverse “how to” guide for mongers.
Can you only view it if you install the App?
And if you install the app, then you have to create an account, right?

The thread on SugarBabies feels like it could have been in the Seeking thread here. It’s amusing to me that people deep in the commercial sex game have a hard time accepting a different kind of relationship. I have a working theory that it comes down to binary thinking… a relationship either has to be romantic or it has to be commercial.

You can actually access the site via webpage, and infact, you need to use the webpage access to set up the adult content viewing. But the app is easy. I set up a new profile with my burner info and within a day was off to the races!

Came across this interfering graphic, regarding Reddit.... it's one of the most popular search engines
So is this a graphic showing loss of popularity, or showing the transition to app based access? Because I have zero reason to search or access FB via any google platform, so not sure my interest in FB would be captured in this data.

No idea, but understanding the thinking should only help us mongers navigate in both worlds!

I found I could only get so far without installing the App, at which point I lost interest.

I did set up my adult content viewing but when I wanted to go further and view the sub about the sexworkersonly it asked me to install the app.

I considered using my "billy" information but that might be problematic down the road if I want to use reddit for something legitimate.

The app is definitely the way to explore the site. Just much easier to navigate. You can have multiple Reddit accounts and switching between them is easy.

The r4r subreddits are great (basically reddit users in a city/region putting up adult ads). There's hookup subreddits for swingers, Dom/Subs, cuckolds, etc.

There was a curvy 18/19 year old not far from my area who used reddit to post nudes of herself (exhibitionist kink) and one time posted that she wanted to hook up with an older man. Sent her a PM and we moved the conversation off the app but unfortunately our schedules didn't quite align and she slipped away. She doesn't post as much anymore since she started college and when she does it's to promote selling her content on Kik.

One of my biggest regrets but when you're juggling multiple women, working, etc. it can be difficult to carve out time that aligns with a 19 year old's availability.

I use my "mongering" google account Monty, in incognito mode and use the
[Desktop Site □] checkbox enabled on my phone, I access Twitter, Facebook, Google Voice, Gmail, UtopiaGuide, etc this way so not to cause SO issues if notifications appear is only for my IRL social media accounts, plus I'm not always logging out/loggin I'm with multiple profiles, close Chrome and all session data disappears

I wouldn’t access this on a shared desktop at all. Same for anything else. Not worth it

Had two more success stories in March.

posted on r/randomactsofmuffdive looking for someone to come by my hotel in manhattan. Had a nice NYU girl from the Bronx who’s clearly never been pleased before stop by. $80 for the room for a few hours in Chelsea by the market. DATY, returned the favor, missionary into doggy CIM and we went our separate ways.

second was an older woman who insisted I come to her place on the upper west side. Mid 40s, doctors did a great job with her chest and stomach. She gave a wicked BBJ before letting me return the favor. Ended up finishing with the BBJ and went on my way.

No it I don't use a shared laptop/desktop. I use my personal cellphone (but I browse using the incognito mode - nothing kept in history and with the checkbox enabled for pretend I'm a desktop - the mobile versions vs the desktop versions have different user experiences and in many cases functionality)

all my "monger" social activity Telegram, Reddit, Gmail, Google Voice, Facebook, Twitter, UtopiaGuide is from my cell phone in incognito mode - which gets closed at a stop light when I am a few blocks from home). All my [unmentionable] websites that I look for also disappear from my cell phone.

Just a reminder that all the data still exists, I've mention these programs before in other threads, but it is important to know.

So my data (and yours) will forever be available to private companies like Google/Facebook/Verizon/AT&T/etc, and the NSA, FBI, CIA, etc. and other government agencies authorities are watching without a warrant - nothing you or I can do to hide from them - or i should say the amount ot technical effort and skill to do it is not worth it, they so far haven't used this against any of us - though the DEA is using to monitor and prosecute drug dealers. Seriously? Do you post a picture on your ads? I’ve been trying for a couple months, multiple threads, even different cities while I travel, and nothing. Help us Obi Wan, you’re our only hope!
