I came across it googling info on something in Philly for someone looking for a certain club.
This showed up in the search.
There is stuff archived on UG from 10 years ago. Some as applicable today as it was 10 years ago.

The fact she was a Dom, and participated in an Alternative lifestyle was over sensationalize by the press. They even visited her family on Long Island, who had no idea what she did. There is very little integrity in journalism any more.
The lifestyle was the medium where this two meet, but this lug nut was destined to explode.
That is why I did not post, satisfied.

It had no relevance to UG or the hobby. The story is a cliche of obsession, violence, and a crime of passion. Stories like this happen everyday all over the world. I also did not post about the fuckhead last week who cut up his GF, and burned her body on a roof. Like I said above, when insecurities, and obsessions collide...
About 4 or 5 years ago there was a well known escort in Montreal who was stalked by a client who (reportedly) had spent over 100K on her over the years. She eventually had the client arrested for criminal stalking. In a rather bizarre turn of events, the story made its way onto the Montreal Escort Review Board after the client pled guilty to the criminal charges. The client, whose board handle on MERB was "Ponpon", actually went on MERB and admitted to his criminal behavior but blamed the escort for it. Specifically, he accused her of manipulating him into spending money on her and believing a personal connection existed. This led to a major controversy in which some Board posters sided with Ponpon and accused the escort of being a manipulator, and some others pointing out that an escort's job is to manipulate and create a blurring between the lines of fantasy and reality, and that Ponpon could not distinguish between fantasy and reality. I think the Mods eventually locked the thread and may have deleted it. But the same thing happened here and went to further and more extreme criminal conduct.
I don't know about zero relevance but I agree that the story is cliched and happens more in reality than some of the seemingly surprised posters here are willing to admit.

Another thing, I do not agree with putting this story in this section. I bet most UGers do not tread into this thread. IMHO, even though she was a DOM, the story plays better in the general industry related topics section. That way it would have reached the wider audience.

This section is was created to promote the discussion of Alternative avenues (Like BD/SM, Transexuals, Fetish, etc.) on UG. If you are simply going to criticize, bash or otherwise detract from these discussions, you are strongly advised to refrain from posting in this section at all. Note: If you're going to "come close to the line", it had at least better be in some general discussion thread.
