Obama's accomplishments

Try reading his post again and you will see that he is talking about how much his insurance company paid the doctor.

Two weeks ago I had blood work done and the doctor sent it to a lab I hadn't used before, so the lab sent me a bill for $1200.00. I called the lab gave them my insurance and a week later I got my BCBS statement and all they paid the lab was $177.00

Same thing with my shoulder surgery the surgeon goes in there and does 5 different procedures each costing between 5 and 8 thousand and the insurance only pays 6 or 7 hundred for each.
I know what he wrote and stand by my statement that no doctor has billed any insurance for less then 150 and up in recent years. I has about 10k in co-pay debt thanks to sneaky billing I didn't know until long after my visit and hospital stay, most of it I disputed and had waived but there are still so much they slipped by me. It's total nonsense that any doctor in this day and age bills the insurance less the 150. He tried to dismiss a very serious problem by making an outlandish claim of such a low billing, it's just not realistic so either he's a gerbil and saw a vet or it's false The bottom of the barrel Duane Reade walk in clinic bills 150, specialists billing start at 600 and up. I had seen an invoice from my insurance a ear nose and throat specialist that billed 1500 for 5 minute visit , 500 for the pleasure of his presence, 500 to look in each nostril, he billed it as a surgical procedure so don't preach to me about the rip off. I have bc/bs too and I read each claim and know what doctors are billing and what I'm left to cover and it has never been under $50, never.

I'm also sick of this planned parenthood abortion myth, the federal money given is for reproductive health care, cancer screening, pap tests, mammograms. The abortion division doesn't get a cent of federal funding, never did, never will. It's pure propaganda like death panels. Women have to abide these new invasive laws like unnecessary vaginal probing aka medical rape by state mandate, I guess conservatives like mandates when it's about controlling women.

You're some piece of work, you can't read or can't comprehend what you read. I don't know what his doctor charged, no where does he state that all I know is that whatever the bill was the insurance only paid the doctor $47.00. You're absolutely clueless and you never fail to make a complete ass out of yourself.

Stu aka the stalker, troll are the last person to demand anything from me after your deplorable outright creepy behavior on and off this section towards me. I would like to see you admit you have acted like a complete creep for a very long time and to even use the word decent to me is offensive, you used any information you could find and twisted it into something perverse and deranged so please do me a favor and kindly go fuck yourself and your fake outrage, seriously you and your zealot ignorant misogynistic fascism disgusts and creeps me out. I couldn't reach the depravity you have displaced here even if I tried. Nobody insults the president without receiving my backlash because unlike you and the rest of America hating Republicans I love my country and respect my sitting commander in chief. I don't root for the failure of my president and country and you one owing an apology for your lack of patriotism and disrespect, none of you deserve to call yourselves Americans, you should all hold your head down in shame.
Where was your patriotism and respect when Bush was President?

This coming from a grown man who believes there is no correlation between birth control and reproductive disease, you are the last person to accuse anyone here of being clueless or making an ass out of themselves. I understood it perfectly and still do no believe any doctor with a license who attends humans in this day and age would accept $47 as payment, I'm calling him out and if you don't like it too bad but don't claim I didn't understand what he wrote.

When W. was president I did not partipate in any public political discussions. I was raised to respect this country, democracy and never disrespect a sitting elected president. You were obviously raised in a barn and have sense of right and wrong.

I didn't root for W. to fail, I hoped he would do what was best for my nation's well being because I knew if he failed it would affect my life as a citizen. You bunch root to the point of falsifying in order to creating an imaginary failure of a sitting United States president, there is no doubt Teapublicans hate this country and their rage towards the president has nothing to do with policy. When liberals have a qualm with the president it's about things that they should be angry about like passing the Monsanto bill and I know they are correct but when conservatives whine about a website being too slow or even picking on his dog I know what the real reason is for the disrespect. Republicans cried wolf too many times and you lost and will lose even bigger the next major election cycle despite all theur manufactured suppressing, purging and gerrymandering the votes.

The website issue isn't just about being slow...even Obama's first press secretary has said (without denigrating the overall ACA) the technical problems are totally unacceptable...

It's only been three weeks and will not even be officially implemented until Jan 1st and even then people have to March to sign up. I'm truly disgusted by the right wing desire for the first serious funded healthcare reform law to fail just because they hate the president, the indivdual mandate was originally a Republican idea via Heritage Foundation. It doesn't even make sense to hope it an affordable healthcare act fails because it will offers relief to so many suffering citizens. So what the website is slow, everything new is trial and error, this is a massive undertaking and we are a big country. The website complaining is so unbelieveably petty and we on the sane side have grown tired of the right wing moutain out of molehill approach, Issa used it all up with his silly and costly witch hunts that went nowhere, this new misplaced outrage will go nowhere too. State for state the democratic ones are far more advanced in signing people up then the Republican ones who choose to deny access to afforable healthcare out of spite. Republicans only want big government when it pertains to female reproductive health, going to useless wars and pushing religious beliefs, they are appearing more and more like self serving sadistic seditious whiners with the lowest approval rate in modern history as proof. They might dazzle the inbreds and zealots but in the large scope they are a sad joke. I don't know how anyone with any sense of country loyality can still support them after they shut down our government to prove they can, it's insanity.

So what the website is slow,
No, it's not a matter of being a "little slow;" otherwise, you wouldn't have the rant that Robert Gibbs gave in the previous post. How about you go on the site and report back? Even President Obama said the current situation is not acceptable. It's not acceptable to the person credited as his signature achievement but IT'S ACCEPTABLE TO YOU?

No disrespect to you but who cares about what one man who is not even actively involved in the administration is saying when we know millions will have more affordable healthcare options and not get the shake down from insurance companies anymore. No undertaking of this magnitude has gone off without a hitch so please excuse that I'm not using a slow server as an excuse to give up on the whole law out or using it as yet another reason to defame this president on his second democratically elected term. After many years of fake outrage the right wing has cried wolf one too many times and whatever they are bitching about this week which happens to be the AHCA AGAIN, rational people have stopped giving attention to the doom and loom fearmonger Republican freak show. There is still malicious sabatoge from the Republican states and let us not forget the 40 odd ridiculous repeals I honestly didn't expect it to go as well as it has so far considering the obstructionist spite from the right wing. They basically threw away 25 billion on that shut down in another fool's errand to destroy this law and discredit the commander in chief. The saddest part is the states that refuse to cooperate have the highest levels of uninsured on the nation, it's insane they would let their own people suffer for ideology sake.

I'll go on when everything is ironed out, it's just registration, the law is not implemented until 2 whole months, I'm rational and patient and will not allow the right wing think tank negativity to affect this monumental moment in American history. I completely trust my president to sort this minor problem out, he has rarely disappointed me and as far as his signature legislation it is far from the only one, there is equal pay for women and civil rights for same sex, immigration reform, it might apply to you but it has positively affected millions of citizens.

Who else is tired of the staged fainting schtick?

Enough already with this dog and pony show. It's so obviously fake it's insulting. What a phoney, he knows his dimwitted worshipers eat this shit up.

This debacle of the website is only the beginning. JUST WAIT till people start to find out how horrendous the actual law is. Wait till they find out more people have LOST health insurance as a result of this shit show than OBTAINED health insurance! Another nugget. This system is based on one very important factor ... That healthy young people will be forced to BUY health insurance. You see ... they will add money to the program but won't take up services because they are ... welll .... young and healthy. There's two problems with that premise. #1 ... dipshit made it so that young and healthy people can stay on their parents coverage till they're 26. That reduces the pool to start with. They are lumped in with the family plans. #2 .... the young and healthy generally speaking need beer money and money for fancy cars and money to go out on dates so they can get laid. They will go to Obama's website and see that they can either pay $300 a month for a dogshit policy with huge deductibles and they will figure it is cheaper to pay the fine of like $200 a year. Why not???? If they get really sick they can get insurance when they actually need it since that is the new law.

Wait till this comes out and all the other bad news comes out on this. There will be lots of Democrats losing seats. The GOP will retake the majority and then we move to defund and get rid of it altogether.

I know the left may laugh ... but so far ... the Tea Party has been 100% dead on regarding how shitty Obamacare is. It is pretty undeniable.

Sorry Em .... it's just a matter of time.

Steve, is it so much better to have millions of citizens uninsured and just tell them to go to the ER for free service and leave the bill to be cost shifted for the few insured to pay? I'll happily support ending the AHCA as long as Reagan socialist EMTALA ends with it. You can't have one without the other, the healthcare system is imploding from the Reagan signed socialist unfunded burden. Deny ER care to all uninsured unless a person can prove they have 100k in their savings to cover the potential cost and then see how much people dislike the idea affordable healthcare, my guess it will be very popular. I think you are overreaching in your hope for failure which is now a Republican trait, nobody getting kicked off unlike they were before the law for per/existing conditions. This is the first time I feel confident switching my insurance carrier without the fear of being denied for my pre-existing condition which is on my record even though I practically begged my doctor to remove it. It's also great as a woman I don't have a co-pay for many things I have been squeezed for like cancer screening for reproductive disease. This law is going to not only going to be a success but end the Republican mountain out if a molehill outrage overreaching for good, 37 Republicans jobs are uncertain thanks to the 25 billion shutdown they orchestrated and I say good riddance to all the seditious obstructionist.

I love how some of the Republicans that defended W. Part D are doing their Academy Award worthy fake outrage regarding the AHCA. The best part is when those Republican liars got served by Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. I wonder if these Republicans realize we have something called archives where we keep something called footage or are they really that stupid.

bullshit! provide some proof.

Here's a bigger lie "If you like your policy you can keep it"

http://www.kaiserhealthnews.org/Stories/2013/October/21/cancellation-notices-health-insurance.aspx

I feel sorry for senior citizens, in Florida, Florida Blue cancelled 300,000 policies because they didn't meet the standards for Obamacare. Seniors 60, 70, 80, and 90 years old had their policies cancelled because they didn't have coverage for maternity care which is required under Obamacare. These unfortunate people on fixed incomes now have to go through the hassle of signing up for Obamacare and pay more for coverage they don't need.

maybe you should READ what you link. Like this little nugget:
"By all accounts, the new policies will offer consumers better coverage, in some cases, for comparable cost -- especially after the inclusion of federal subsidies for those who qualify. The law requires policies sold in the individual market to cover 10 “essential” benefits, such as prescription drugs, mental health treatment and maternity care. In addition, insurers cannot reject people with medical problems or charge them higher prices. The policies must also cap consumers’ annual expenses at levels lower than many plans sold before the new rules."

Rick Scott has destroyed Florida to line his pockets, they stupidly elected a crook who should be in prison for governor. It's their mess to clean and their problems like so many other red states are isolated to the right wing ruled government they elected. They just disenfranchised 34% of female Texas voters with the swipe of a pen. My original voted registration name is different from my name now which means if I live in Texas k would have to go out of my way, produce documentation I would have to go down to the records office to obtain just for permission to vote. This new Texas suppression affects 0% of men. The red state deserves what they get, they voted in these creeps in and if they want to have the privileges and rights thr blue states enjoy they better vote these clowns out if they enen can anymore.

You liberals are incredible. When an insurance company like mine shitcans my company's plan because of Obamacare ... now I have to get a new plan. That's a fact. Barry said that would not happen ... and it did. Your truth-o-meter was wrong. You can see the date is back in September before these things really became self-evident. People losing their insurance is fact and it is happening everyday.

I did read it and now that 80 year old widow will have better coverage when she is ready to give birth again.
