Now that I've got your attention...

When a provider posts explicit photos of herself, how does this influence your decision to pursue her? What tends to push you over the edge -- full frontal, an unobstructed view of her stomach, some idea of how tall she is, her legs, her feet?

And, more importantly, why?

As always, it's not what the photos are of, it's the quality. There was an ex poster here who recently had full face, full body photos up on her ad, but they were by a known photographer, and I think they looked fine.

They influence me. I much prefer the face to be in a photo. If I don't see the face I don't feel like I've seen the person. Pussy photos are pointless. I've seen one. Too studio and I don't believe it. Quality too poor and it's annoying. Good quality snapshot is the best.

If there are a lot of photos and different kinds(pro studio,home candid snapshots),I like it.It tells me that the girl probably is pretty comfortable with the way she looks which I associate,perhaps mistakenly, with a good session.I like porn so it's not a turn off for me if the girl is nude.Any shot,nude,swimsuit,lingerie dress,that is taken without the hips rotated is also a plus for me.Kudos to a woman who will show me her ass,waist and hips straight on.

Some women really don't know what clothes are flattering and look better nude than they do in clothes that they believe look good on them.I used to play a game,"clothes or no clothes" with a stripper I knew when girls would come into the club in their street clothes on a shift change.A lot of girls with really good bodies just didn't know or care about how to look good in stripper gear or mufti.

Pussy Shots

Although it doesn't appeal to me,it isn't a turn off either.But there are guys who are really into the nuances of pudendal aesthetics and for whom the wrong labial structure,hue,clit and hood size and shape can be a deal breaker.When I see guys who sit up close to the stage at nude clubs inspecting the goods like a judge at beauty pageant,I imagine that's their bag and that they have handles like Coochmeister,PussyPro,etc.

No. They just seem pretentious.

You know, I'll tell you what I really think about those. Obviously, I have this fetish for women who really don't seem like sex workers. So, anyone who goes to the trouble of having artsy-fartsy nudes taken of herself . . . .

i don't like the artsy-fartsy/portrait like pictures either. I prefer the more candid shots. By those I mean the ones that are done at home with a digital camera, simple background and clear pictures of the girl in simple poses. I don't mind the air-brushed photos either, as long as they don't cover up too much and gives a fair representation of the lady. Dress Up Girls, Miami Companions, and Ophelias has some great pictures of their girls, those are what would make me book an appointment. The problem with the artsy fartsy shots is they make me think they're hiding something, either the girl is larger that what the description says or they're too photo-shopped.

This reminds me of an episode of NYPD Blue years ago in which a witness identified a stripper by the shape of her naked breasts, the distinctions of which he described in detail. ("She has what I call a such and such cup...") It was meant to show what a sleazeball he was. However, I couldn't help but think of some PMB posts I've read over the years!

But, JL, you never book providers off of their Web sites or Web ads, do you? I thought you were strictly on the stripper end of the market and picked them up in clubs. So then the answer to the question in this string, for you, would be that any photo on any Web site would be a turn off, regardless of its style or substance. No?

Since my preference is more towards the "non-pro" or "not-too-pro" type of lady, any naked pic will scream "PRO-PRO-PRO". I love candid, natural pics especially with their BF cut out of the pic!

I'm always wary, because of the "rules," to post links to specific sites. But since you asked so nicely (sure you just don't want to look at naked photos?)...

Here's a link to a British agency site that regularly sends providers to New York. They sent me this today as an ad for someone who will be visiting soon. I think the photos are both tasteful and pretty sexy. To use the now infamous UG phrase, "I'd do her." (If she weren't $700/hour!) I've never used the agency and don't really know much about them, except that I think they charge way too much.

That said, you can find hundreds of examples like this, with similar quality and taste. If you hire a half-way decent photographer who has some sense of decorum, you'll get more or less the same result, because they're all shooting with the same cliched ideal in mind.

Then there's the all too typical (these days) skanky, explicit CL ad, like this, that was clearly shot on the fly with a cheap digital camera:
