Each reference thread title starts with the words "REFERENCE THREAD." If you don't see these words in the title, it's NOT a reference thread.
Slow down. Take a breath. Re-read.
If you are posting in an opinion thread, cite any source you want. If the source or the article is dopey, then expect the criticism (the old "if you can't take the heat" saying).
