BTW-85 poker tables in an AC casino is like 3-4 times the amount of tables at any other casino in AC.

Now, I've never counted the tables... but Taj looks pretty big... especially when they open up that separate area near the restrooms for tournies getting down to the final tables....

IM a dice man, always was, always will be.

Any Atlantic City casino is fine. Foxwoods, and other indian casinos dont allow more than 2 times odds on certain numbers, some indian casinos on all numbers, so Id rather stick to Atlantic city, although I do play on reservation land, just watch my bets.

--Borgata.....the only LV style casino in AC. Great place, great poker room.
--Mandalay Bay, LV...the poker room is right next to the sports book, so you can watch sports after you fold.
--Bellagio, LV...they just increased the size of their poker room. Before, it was impossible to get a seat at a table.
--Mirage, LV...I know it's an older casino, but still prime, poker room is in middle of casino, nice location, smaller but good action.

Ive played mostly at the Borgata and it's going to get even better this summer when they unviel the new poker room.
Do you know the current status, is the poker room open as we speak? I'm schedule to be there next week. Will change plans if the room is closed.

I really enjoyed Mohegan Sun when they had their poker room. It was really stupid for them to give it up. They did so right before poker became really popular. Foxwoods poker room is ok. I can't wait to check out the new one at the Borgata.

I agree... for dice I like to find tables that offer at least 5 x odds on all the numbers. Sometimes tables right next to each other in the same casino will offer different odds structures.
Lately I've been playing dice while waiting for a spot at a poker table to open up... so I've played at Harrah's, Trop, Taj, Caesars, Foxwoods... all fine with me.
Dice is a lot more fun when the players are having fun, throwing around money, winning and screaming and yelling.....

For blackjack, in Vegas you gotta look out for the "Dealer Will Hit On All SOFT 17s" tables. Better chance for the player to beat them if they stand on all 17s.

On a lark I played spanish 21 once and had no idea what I was doing strategy wise, still won 200, but called it quits after only a half hour, wasnt going to push my luck. (no 10's in the deck, you can double down at any point and some other weird deviations)
