Cheers, Jeers or Tears

Saw a SCL post today that suggested mgmt monitoring things more during the week,
said he visited tonight & zero mileage from his reg girl.

Anyone else notice anything? SCL is generally useless for credible info.

Sometimes they monitor, sometimes they dont. There are times when it shuts down the fun, but it doesnt last long. Focus on the girls that know you and you'll find out right away what's up.

Also, they're a little overdue for The Annual Raid.

Never been here yet cuz it's so far from my area, but generally places like this are better in the daytime in my experience here up north. Maybe even if they are checking more, it's more at night than during the day?

Believe it or not, the day time's lately are actually monitored more than night at Cheeks. This place has been raided by LE around this time of the year for the past 3 straight years (always on a Thursday and always undercovers in the club during the day, and bust at 7pm on what they surveiled). Maybe coincidence. Nights get monitored too, but is like Axe said.

PEMBERTON – Local police and several other law enforcement agencies raided a strip club Thursday night and charged seven dancers with prostitution, police said.

Pemberton Township Police, State Police, Office of Homeland Security and the special investigations office of the U.S. Air Force took part in the undercover operation, spokesman Lt. Robert Lewandowski said.

Newark residents Irene Pereira, 52, Market St., Lucilene Mendanha, 39, Jabez St., Aurora Gallegos-Sanchez, 38, Elma St., Liede Jesus Souza, 24, Pattison St., Edivaimis Jaronimo Do Prado, 36, and Edniea Jaronimo Do Prado, 24, both of Ferry St. were charged along with Giselle Mora-Jimmenez, 44, Livingston St. in Elizabeth.

The dancers were arrested and charged at Cheeks on South Pemberton Road Thursday night after the females agreed to perform sexual acts for money to undercover officers, Lewandowski said. Lewandowski said the girls solicited the officers for various acts charging around $50 for some. “They set their own prices,” Lewandowski said. “They are independent contractors.”

All of the women are from Brazil and reside in Essex County. All but Pereira were found to not have legal immigration status and will face further hearings U.S. Federal Court, according to police.

The women were transported to Pemberton Township for processing and were jailed on $1,500 bail each, Lewandowski said.

It is the third time in the last three years dancers at the strip club have been charged with prostitution. Several employees were arrested and charged with prostitution and drug possession during a raid on the bar in July 2006. A similar raid led to charges in September 2005 as well, Lewandowski said.

Charges in the earlier arrests are still pending in court, Lewandowski said.

The club opened in July 2005 despite opposition from the township.

The owner of the bar did not respond to a request for comment Friday.

Yes, Last Years LE event.. no doubt on the clubs mgmt's mind. I still doubt it will happen this year, and if it does, the undercovers will have a much more challenging time getting evidence with what the club is doing now.

Latest Update-- Cheeks in Pemberton

Here's what I know of what's going on, a reliable source told me that the club is apparently going through the court fight next month/two for last years LE raid. This new time of rules enforcement is so the club puts it's best face forward for that looming case and the possibility that LE would do another "spot check" of the place to further it's case to have this club closed. The owner has been hovering around the club alot during the last 3 weeks, and a main reason why the girls are scared. To date, no girls have been fired, although there have been many warnings given out. Some have chosen not to make the commute down, such as Malu and her friend you always see with her.

Obviously the girls need to still make money, but dont expect any more than covert style and for first timers, sorry this is not the time, you probably are completely out of luck if the girl doesn't already know you.

I would not be suprised to see a few make a switch to Playhouse in Burlington or possibly Hitching Post/other North Jersey club. Playhouse' mileage has improved, and wouldn't be a big relocation for most of the customers that go here (probably go to both already).

When their makeup is on, the lighting is low, and your dick is hard...

It's pretty dark in those tents for a reason, man.

Nothing to add to what jace said in his last post. I'm hearing the same info.
