something on the same line as outdoor patios...Can anyone recommend any good water cafes? Something like Coco's in Huntington which unfurtunately closed it's doors. This place had a great vibe: outdoor deck overlooking a marina, indoor restaurant with seating around a dance floor and good DJ. Looking for someplace comparable.

One of the best patios in Manhattan is Pure Wine and Food, on Irving Place where Verbena used to be. Located in the back, no street fumes, open air to the sky. Of course, you have to like raw veggies, but if you just want to sit and share a bottle of wine, and they have a pretty good list, then they are hard to beat.
