This was by and far the biggest disappointment of the year.
Padres a distant second, not even sure you could include the Yankees because all the die hard fans knew they sucked going into the past two seasons so we expected missing the playoffs, or at least we weren't surprised when they did.
But the Mets? If you spend $364 million you better waltz into the playoffs.
It seems from the players that left the biggest problem is that they don't work hard. Certainly looks that way from the outside.
Lindor is the face of the franchise and he hasn't made an All-star game since they got him. Who cares about his 30-30. Totally meaningless since most of the games he built up those stats didn't count.
