Ya gotta love Charlie Sheen

Just when you think his depravity cannot sink any deeper he is planing a lawsuit against the producers of the show for emotional distress and taking away his ability to provide for his family. He also claims he is underpaid and now demands 3 million per episode. He really lives in a universe all of his own and has no grasp of reality as well as being a talentless hack.

His children will be and has been fine without his help, he needs the money to keep the Charlie party going. His children's mother alone can provide for those girls where they will never need for anything their entire lives. I have so much respect for Denise Richards for sticking up against him and getting those kids away from his bad influences. I saw parts of her reality show and she is a good mother and a overall nice person, I liked how she takes care of her father after his wife died, she is much more grounded then the media give her credit for. She made nice with Charlie for the kids sake but she keeps a close watch. She is terrible actress but never took herself seriously either and at least made a name for herself without family influence.

Poor ma-Sheen can't catch a break...

Even his Spiralling out of control lifestyle with drug & pornstars is old hat. Tom Sizemore beat him to it years ago. Sheen is a hack and he will be quickly forgotten as an actor as just like everyone forgot Oliver Stone was a good director. I hope Sheen worked on his greeting skills as his next gig will surely be the bunny ranch.

You are right, unlike Charlie Sheen Tom Siezmore is very talented and made a name for himself without any help. He was once sort out by all great directors not just one (he casting Siezmore also). He was handpicked to star in a new Micheal Mann TV drama before he really spiraled downhill, they stopped production instead of replacing him. I want Tom to have a comeback, he is a hardcore addict for sure but at least he is not a pompous asshole. I was touched by his humbling appearance on Larry King, he is the poster child of what happens when drugs take over. Charlie might be an addict but he still seems to be lucid and doing exactly what he wants which is not addict behavior. Tom was holed up somewhere, gaunt and pale with a crack pipe, that's rock bottom.

You are right about Oliver Stone also, his direction and editing was flawless in JFK, it is one of my top 10 ATF but he has not done anything great in a long while. I think Charlie was cast in Platoon because of the strong resemblance to his father. It was Tom Berenger and William Defoe who carried that movie, Charlie was wallpaper, the extras out acted him. I heard John Stamos might replace Sheen in Two and a Half Men, I hope he does just to show Charlie his is not the center of the universe.

I have to say his best quote so far is:

“I am on a drug, it’s called Charlie Sheen.”

Poor guy is going downhill fast, lets see what he comes up with next on tonights 20/20 interview.

I think this was Charlie's best quote:

"You should see how I party - it was epic. The run I was on made Sinatra, Flynn, Jagger and Richards look like droopy-eyed, armless children."

Looking forward to 20/20!

He gives drugs a bad name.

Why does he have to be labeled as an addict for the public to accept his behavior?

Can we just accept this talentless douche is just a drug free asshole (I am channeling Ozzy).

all i can say is, if i had his money, i'd probably be just as big a fucking pervert. though i'd probably smoke myself to feath (can you do that with weed?)., and for cbs to be seen as a victim here is pretty funny too. am i supposed to believe no one knew what a dope fiend this guy was til it came out in the papers and all over the media? oh, i remember, they were too busy sticking 100 to 150 million a year in profits in their pockets. do i feek bad for all the people losing their jobs? yes, but that was chs' decision, not sheen's, besides, entertainment is the only industry that constantly has 90% unemployment, these folks are used to losing jobs. they knew that without him, there is no show, whether he's a good actor or not, he's the star of the show. so, like him, love him, hate him, despise him, he showed up for work and did his job. that's all you should expect form a worker. to expect any artist or actor or rock star to be "normal" is just living in a fantasy world. just look at all the damaged goods coming out of the disney factory.

I am still wrapping my head around an adult guy who brags about his ability to do copious quantities of drugs. Sad fact is when you are famous and wealthy you will have your choice of people who will pretend to be your friend, so (as has been said here before) everyone is an enabler.

I totally agree with this post as well as Puffin's.

Funniest moment in the 20/20 Interview last night was when Charlie was asked why he does Porn Stars. His answer: "They are the best at what they do! Duh!"

I think there was a follow up question like, "is it because you can preview the action with a porn star?" And Charlie was like, "hello, yeah!!!!!!! duh!"

The questions were a tad naive.

Everyone here would trade places with him in a second to live his hobbyist life.

Excess with any vice is no good, look at Bob Crane. He did not drink, smoke, gamble but he loved sex. He eventually lost touch with reality much like Sheen and the powers the be in Hollywood walked away. He eventually lost his life because of his dealings with the underground world he chose to be involved in.

Some of you guys wrote if you had the money and fame you might be the same but chances are you would all get bored and settle down. It takes a certain type of personality not to have the ability to call it a day. Charlie has been on this party train for over 20 years, how much is enough?

With all his money are those two "goddesses" the best he can do??? If they past me on the street I wouldn't even give them a second look.
Stu,

I would tend to agree with you on this. I don't really find either one attractive. I don't really find Brook Mueller or Denise Richards, wives #3 and #2, attractive either. To me his most attractive woman was wife #1, a brunette model whose name escapes me.

Like Crane, I do not have any drinking or gambling issues. My one vice has always been paying for sex. For many years the chief inhibitor was not boredom or the desire to have a monogamous relationship, which is a desire I do not have. The chief inhibitor was financial. I see many women in the $500 and up category and some in the $1000/hour range on special occasions, but I realized pretty quickly I could not do this every week on what I make, even as a single guy with a low mortgage payment. So I made a deal with myself, which was that when my savings account dips below $10,000.00, I stop. And I have always been true to that rule and it has worked for me. Recently my savings account dipped below $10,000.00 because I refinanced my mortgage and had to pay about $3500 in associated costs, so I need to replenish but remain on hiatus until then.

There are ways to engage in a vice and not have it become an addiction. I don't think Charlie ever had the natural financial inhibitors that the rest of us have. In fact, he admitted this in his 1998 interview with Charles Gibson which was shown on the 20/20 program last night.
