Alibis have been talked about before but just curious about the current one--

The scenario is---a man has a mistress-not me--my friend blake has another lover--he is married (ok not recognized by the state he lives in)--anyway falls in love with this other person.) Then gets caught! Then told it all and is now living in a hotel. I feel terrible for him but more so for his SO!

The rules to the craft-)

I told him that u should of had a story in place. Never tell more information than necessary. He is the 'god art thou guy' who feels that he should tell it all and just come clean. I told him that he should have just said that he had a one night stand and not admit that he had been seeing this person for a while and definitely should not have mentioned feelings for the other person! Then again I am not sure if that was the best advice. Having an alibi in place is suppose to be good but I guess having the right words to say for that alibi--is equally important. You don’t want to hurt the other person more than u have to--so they don't need to know all the details. What can u say when ur in that situation that would not make it worse than it already is? what’s the best alibi or the best thing to say when confronted? shit I would lie my ass off!

At some point, you're not going to get away with a denial. If my partner continued to deny, even though the evidence was right there in my face, I think I would be more pissed off about the blatant lie than about the cheating. When you get to the point that you're insulting the intelligence of your partner, you're going to have take a different strategy.

For sure "telling it all" is a bad move. It's totally selfish, and only gives relief to the person bearing the burden of being a cheater. You're right, superwoman, he needs to leave out the gory details.

1. Deny...even if there is a fuckng video, there is a resonable excuse......like someone is setting me up and blackmailing me...doctored pics...video.....

I agree that that a one night stand story is the least harmful alternative.... I was like in a Tiger Woods kind of place....been jerking off all the time...just needed someone else to touch it...the left had wasn't enough anymore....I was a crazed sex adict ..one night meant nothing....are all denials of an affair if that is the beast you are afraid of.......

If you're not getting what you want from the relationship, you're having affairs and she doesnt pay your bills or meet your sexual needs, why hang around?

Even if she produces the blue dress with the DNA all over it, claim that it was not actual sex ,which can only occur if her head is in the direction of magnetic north.

If all else fails claim that it is Bush's fault.
