I pay out of pocket but I use lemonaid for a 6 month rx for sildenafil (generic revatio) and GoodRx for the discount. The cheapest I paid was $9.89 for 30, 30mg and most recently it was $14.89 for a refill. $20 visit fee plus supplies.
Did you just randomly decide to provide that information or are you following the current conversation where I specifically asked not to go off on a price tangent?

I looked up V interactions and its not just food.

Booze seems to have a big negative effect and even something like grapefruit juice.

Seems to be conflicting articles on grapefruit juice as some say it increases potency but others say decreases.

I randomly provided the information as I felt it was appropriate because it has worked for me, both the price and the venue/process. I do not believe I went into a price tangent per say as retail estimates and retail prices might change without notice. I only read the most current comments and added from there. With respect to the symptoms, I don’t usually get any if I maintain the recommended dose (3 or less) or take it on a full stomach. If I take more than four or on a limited diet, or did not eat regularly that day—I get a running nose or a headache.

Grapefruit juice with V or C is a double edged sword; it increases the blood level concentration but it also increase the time it takes to get to the peak.

It also contains substances which interfere with liver enzymes that break down the medication so the effect of V and C will last longer. The problem is the effects may vary greatly based on the particular sample of juice used.

Note that there are other drugs that are affected this way, statins come to mind, so it can be dangerous to take a daily medication when you also take grapefruit juice every day as the medication blood level will build up as the liver will be prevented to metabolize them.

Cinnamon also thins the blood out naturally so those coffee drinks might not want to add cinnamon before taking it.

My best guess is that the effects will also vary by person.

So only way to know is self-experimentation and keeping track of time/dose/other factors.

I do see something similar on interactions with coffee and NSAID. I read online that the pain relievers could be more effective taken with caffeine and personal use with coffee seems to be consistent.

And a very good guess I might add.
For example for sildenafil, data comparisons between Middle Eastern and other ethnicities indicated that Iranian, Mexican, and Thai would potentially have twice the effect observed in Arabs and Caucasians, considering the same prescribed drug formulation and dose.

Yup, which is why I pick up a McD's senior coffee on my way to Flushing. Cute manager there even recognizes me as I'm there every Sunday am, and my coffee is ready just as she dumps my exact change w/o counting it into register. (97¢ and IMHO better than Dunkin — in fact I switched my pour over home brew from Gevalia to McCafe medium roast that I found at some market)

Was able to arrange something last night and did an experiment.

50 MG generic V + empty stomach + caffeine (a O cal energy drink)

Purely subjective but it was super effective.

I think this thread is probably more accurate than WebMD.com.

I've been see another product just came out similar to rugiehealth that combines Sildenafil and Tadedafil. Something with the word cakes on the end. I think the mixture was 87 mil S and 17mil T. Dissolve under the tongue.

As an experiment once I combined the two because I was feeling sluggish and all it did for me was amplifie the side effects. I was so stuffed up my sinuses on my right side felt like they were going to burst out my head.

Was wondering if any tried either of these products and what the side effects felt like.

Never tried it but 87 mil S is a lot of S and combining that with 17mg of C, I'm not surprised that you experienced "stuffed up my sinuses".

I've posted before that I used to get stuffy nose when I took 40mg S and used a nasal decongestant spray to offset that effect. The stuffy nose was particularly troublesome (if no nasal spray used) and annoying when I was lying on my stomach getting a massage — so bad I could only breathe thru my mouth.

As I 've gotten older I now require a higher dosage of S for same anti-ED effect (now 75mg). I still get a slight headache but interesting enough no longer get the stuffy nose.

BTW, I usually take S on an empty stomach but if I've had some food I will let the S dissolve under my tongue. Two things: unpleasant taste and the effects are quicker (15 min after it disintegrates) than swallowing the S whole. It's worth fasting for a couple of hours to avoid the under the tongue routine.

Years ago when I first tried S I took your advice and bought Afrin for the occasion.

But this time it didn't help. The sinus pain was intense and lasted into the next day.

I've settled on using generic C because it fits my needs better (four hour sessions and overnights vs a quick half hour massage and fuck). And I get no side effects at all from 20 mil of C. None. Whereas when I did try V a few years ago I'd get a running nose a few hours later.

From what I'm reading about the products that are specifically made to dissolve under the tongue it seems they are making it taste good.

To be clear, I wasn't using the product that was 87/17, just quoting the ad. Was using my own concoction which was part of the problem.

...hmmm, 87/17. My sildenafil consists of 50mg tab. When I do my 75mg of S, I take a 50mg tab and I cut another in half (as close to half as I can get). Most of the time the pills are not split evenly with one of the halves bigger (and thus obviously the other half must be smaller). So my quality control ain't all that great.

so how did you get 87/17?

Not sure if you're reading what I wrote.

Next time I see the ad on Social media I will try to forward you the information or post it here.

I didn't say I came up with those percentages.
The ad for the product did

Right.

However they may have come up with the 87/17 with some experimentation to maximize benefits with the least amount of side effects.
(or they may have just pulled the ratios out of their ass)
Note that both S & C have congestion and headache as side effects.

Also note that the total is 104 mg which is a lot. I started with 40mg of S in my 60's and I had headaches and nasal congestion; on the other hand I had a rock hard dick that even hours later when I got home I could chip a concrete walk segment I was replacing (a slight exaggeration I admit).
