Toronto SWs and hotel problems

Last year, before I ever checked this site, I took a trip to Toronto and stayed on Jarvis at the BW. After 10pm or so, I saw many SWs -- by far the best looking SWs (and they were white, too!) I have seen anywhere in the world -- within a few blocks of my hotel.

The problem was that the BW security refused to admit ANY guests of mine after a certain time at night (a male friend of mine lives in the area, and he wasn't admitted either).

Is this a common situation with Toronto hotels? Or is it peculiar to the BW. Any recommendations?

I've stayed at The Day's Inn on Carleton, near Yonge (Maple Leaf Gardens).
I had no problem rolling in at 2 AM. I didn't have any incall served, but I don't think it would be a problem, as long as the girl is not "provocatively" dressed.
