Man searching for prostitute 'phones police station'
A New York man mistakenly phoned a police station looking for sex, police say.
The 22-year-old allegedly called Colonie police in New York State five times, hoping to get himself a prostitute.
It is believed the man confused the police number with one he had seen in a personals column. He has been arrested.
The female operator hung up on him five times before agreeing to meet at a hotel where the man was arrested for soliciting for sex, reports the msnbc website.
