Spam in my book...
The newsletter doesn't really give me any useful information. What it does give has obviously been professionally "polished" or edited. In doing so, i feel that it loses the "feel" of value that I get from reading similar stuff in various threads from people with faces I can identify with (especially now that I've matched some faces with the people at the G2G's) and to whom I can effectively direct a query or reply.
I, for one, don't want slick, polished, edited stuff clogging my bandwidth and appearing in my in basket without being solicited.
I prefer the 'real" stuff from personally selected threads in an open forum.
