Tantra "Dr" Corynna Clark aka Uma Parvati

This Tantrika is advertising on Eros and Goddess Temple about her visit to NY the week after next. She bills herself as an experienced Tantika Teacher and has studied with various Gurus, etc. Her bio also says she is 28, which may be a huge stretch.

I have not seen her, although I am quite sure she has been here in the past. Any thoughts on this lady would be helpful. She is pricy and looking for money in advance (something I, for one, am very reluctant to do with someone I don't know well). Posting under two different names certainly requires some explanation! She sounds a bit haughty, I must admit.

Thanks,

Saw her ad too (also seen it previously on eros) and just don't get a good vibe.
Maybe it's that pic with her tit hanging out and her looking away - gives the impression she's really into herself and not interested in connecting with her clients.
She also seems to be the one behind the "goddesstemple" site.
Think the bio is old. I see on anothe rsite she says she founded "Temple of the Goddess" in 1994. Something tells me she wasn't 14 at the time.

Ah, with more googling here's some info from the WSJ Dec. 1997:
http://home.stx.rr.com/togdir/mainpage/twilight/religion/Hindu/Tantra.htm

"Six would-be dakinis squeeze in on the
wall-to-wall carpet to listen to Ms. Clarke, who legally changed her name
from Corynne Clarchick and now calls herself Dr. Corynna Clarke,
explain the fine art of Tantra to them...

...Ms. Clarke, 26, says she used to run an escort service under a pseudonym
until she learned Tantra at one of the Muirs' workshops and later as a
Tantra partner to Mr. Muir. She dumped the escort business and started a
Tantra-training company, Temple of the Goddess..."

I had a session with her three or four years ago. She travels quite a bit so this isn't your last chance to see her.

The session was OK. As I have said before I find many of these sessions to be not much more than hj release with breathing exercises thrown in. Not all of them, but many. Her session was pretty heavy on the theory and practice of tantra. Lots of talking, during the bath, before the massage - when we stretched - during the massage and after the massage. The actual contact was fine but she did seem distant and it all was very rote.

She bills herself as one of the great experts in tantra and she charges accordingly. Very high price - $750 for two hours back then, I am not sure of what it is now. I left feeling that I had overpaid for the session.

My advice is to take a pass, unless the prices have been lowered.

Thanks, F. The more I think about it, the less I want to see her!

Enjoy,
