no titties but good movie
never die alone. ernest dickerson directs a donald goines story -- lean well-constructed plot hearkens back to 70s movies like shaft and superfly. dmx gives a tour de force performance. i very rarely see american movies (though hombre has a penchant for them), but this flick is well worth the bucks. the director does not indulge for one moment in self-absorbed auteur crap.
(if anyone thinks this movie merits its own thread, start one. but, i have a feeling taking lives is not going to be the most talked about flick of the year.)
