Providers who Do not take cash?

Saw a few ads while browsing the interwebs. Anybody encounter providers who only take Venmo/google wallet ? What’s their rationale for that? I thought cash is king.... guess those days are over.

Would you see a provider who didn’t take cash?

Nope! I never leave any type of paper or in this case digital trail. Doing so can potentially incriminate. Stick to cash!

This is to follow the Uber model I guess. Can’t rob them for cash if they don’t have any.

I see a slight increase with SB asking for it too. I don't get it but even if there is a good underlying reason I'll never be paying it that way.

SB meaning me? I take cash obviously but a lot of people lately have been asking that I accept other forms of payment. Venmo/CashApp/Zelle/Paypal
