price vs quantity: a test case

You know Chloe better than most of us; for me it's hard to tell if she is serious or this is some Chloesense that has another meaning.
As far as Monica's post, I seem to remember a number of things which might be pertinant ( pardon me if I am "remembering" things which are incorrect and feel free to correct me ):
1) The rate she charges on tour is substantially more than her "home" rate, so the "special low rate" might not be so special.
2) there have been some complaints about service, especailly at the higher rate, so again, that rate might not be so special.
