I can't believe Slinky (or a Mod) had to close another thread, because a member didn't post the phone number in the thread title in the correct format.
The most amazing thing about that bonehead move was two-fold. First, the member is a 13-year vet of this board. Second, the phone number was ironically in the correct format in the ad he referenced. In the past, some members have faulted by just doing a copy-and-paste from the ad to the thread title. Had the member done that here, it would have been correct.
So, for the umpteenth time, the format for posting phone numbers in thread titles is as follows:
XXX-XXX-XXXX. That is area code, dash, exchange, dash, number. No spaces.
