Whether it's Gauge or not, she does have a rep for being very interactive on the web and with her fans ... and she does make some of the nastiest videos I've ever seen ... I think, though, I'd be better off paying her as a porn auteur than as a "client," since not only would I get to fuck her, I'd be able to profit from it as well. And there's the rub (so to speak). I would gather that most porn stars who "escort" do so to make piles of easy money based off their reputations, which means they will only end up dealing with highly moneyed "gentlemen," but there ain't a snowball's chance in Venice Beach they'd offer pricing affordable to their actual rank-and-file stroker fans. Which is fine -- free enterprise and all -- but makes it all a little ridiculous for working "stiffs" to "live the dream."

These chicks who claim to get zillions of dollars for blowing rich guys are simply blowing hot air.

If you take an approximate income needed to justify spending some silly amount on a hooker, you'll find its a limited sub-set of guys who can afford it to begin with. Then factor out the guys who find chicks who will blow them for free, just to hang out with rich guys, guys who dont cheat, guys who are gay, etc etc, its a very small subset of guys.

These chicks try to create a marketing buzz and charge these rates hoping to hit the lottery - it rarely happens. But when it does, they all talk about it and keep hoping they will be the next chick to get overpaid.

Consider that the average salary in NYC is under $40,000 a year, the subset of women who would supply sex for the dollar amounts being mentioned wildly exceeds the demand for the service at that pricepoint.

Lets just say, that you can do much better, for much less.

This can't be true. I've been told repeatedly that $100,000 a year in NYC is just a struggling middle-class income. A salary of $40,000 must be poverty level.

I remember my first "year end review". The company had a 9/30 year end, and I started with the company at the beginning of June. The partner said to me, "you're not going to be getting a raise because you started late in the (fiscal) year, but it will be adjusted next year". Yeaaaahhhhh......rrrrrriiiiiiiigggggghhhhhhtttttt.

At my first real job in a big company they were so impressed by the raise they gave me (3% or some equally silly number) , they told me not to tell other people. My brain interpreted it to mean they were as embarassed by my puny salary as I was.

I liked Gauge's scene in Gag Factor..... the one where she strips on the stairs and proceeds to give some guy a very messy bj. She looks hot and the dirty talk is great. Gauge has done a LOT of videos. She's got a lot coming out, too, at least in the gonzo category (all-sex ... handheld, docu-style scenarios). She's held up amazingly well considering she's been doing it for three years now ... and had so many problems. She's super-cute and I bet she's cool beans, but I'm not really a fan.
