Poll idea: For guys with mates, what makes you hobby?

How the hell would you know what becomes me? Have you been following this board since your self-imposed exile? Exactly what kind of warm welcome did you expect on here after all that time, based on your response?

You leave here over 11 years ago. But you don't give up the hobby. Instead, you post to another site. So, we really don't get the benefit of reading your exploits. No sarcasm there.
Then you come on here and basically shit on our parade by professing to eschew what is the core belief of the membership here. But you did wish us happiness. Oh, wait, you added that we won't find it in the places we frequent.

And on top of it all, I clearly asked in my OP that posts in this thread should not be a discussion. I merely wanted suggestions for further poll choices to the question. So, what do you do? You post a two-part diatribe about why you left the hobby. From what I saw, there was a single paragraph on why you started. And that is all that was needed.

The rest of it was your need to either unburden yourself or convert us. I guess that is your version of some 12-step program for former Johns. To that, I say, "Hit the road Jack. And don't you come back."

We like when old members come back to the fold. We just don't want them coming back and rubbing our faces in it.

I posted here to tell my story in the hope that any of you who are on the fence about seeking help would know there's hope. You don't have to live this way. If you want to poke holes in my story or mock me or berate me, go right ahead. It doesn't matter to me one way or the other.

For the record, I am the only one on here that replied to you, jimp, and I did not even attempt to poke holes in your story. I said nothing at all about its accuracy, so I have no idea why you would make that accusation.

I did take you to task for embellishing your citing of your reason for hobbying by going into your woe about getting caught and then redeeming yourself. And while I can't fault you for wanting to tell your tale, my point is that this thread was not the place for it. Had you simply made the statement about sex addicts and left it at that, all would have been fine. It would even have been okay for you to give some background about that, as you did earlier. But all the other talk about your epiphany about hobbying was totally unnecessary to the task at hand here on this thread.

Lastly, the reason for my berating you was for your comment that "There just isn't anything special enough about this site..." I felt that sentiment was not necessary and was a slight to the members here. Furthermore, if you feel that way, why have you even bothered to come back on here and post?

Started with a dare from a friend to go to a spa which turned to FS And I agreed and developed from there. For me it started with a beer with a friend. He wasn't happy in his marriage and was looking at AMPS. Asked me if I ever went. Told him No but when searching for porn at night while SO was sleeping I would see backpage ads. Told me he was trying this place near where we both loved. 21d it was referred to. I agreed to go as well. It was all downhill and deviant behavior after that.

21d was just a HJ and no FS. But it was fun. Then I found this board and the other one and started searching. I ventured to 140 East John and even "Treat You Like a King" on sunrise. More action there but the girls weren't all that easy on the eyes but all entrance and exits were open so I kept going.

I would sneak around after work bc my wife was on train and we had no kids then. 10 years, 2 kids, less sex with wife, 100's of BP Girls, a few BP tranny's and a couple Craiglist guys I still sneak around after work.

I've done things my wife would never think I would do sexually. Either bc I've seen it on pornos or just wanted to try something kinky. I experimented when I was younger with a small group of friends and get those urges every now and again.

So for me it started as a thrill of doing it to now doing it out of anger or bc of lack of sex at home.

Mines is similar started with a dare and evolved from there but I was single at the time and received full service with an Asian cutie lucky me. But when the wife started to do the endless excuses to only have once a month I just gave up tried with Patience for 2 1/2 years but she never changed her top interest was god house and money last thing in her mind was fun and pleasure so I let her do her thing and I'll do mines.
