The last online when private thing has always been a thing on SA, but yeah it’s easy to miss if you’re just searching specific people instead of scrolling the feed. However, with SB and SA is take the online thing with a grain of salt. A few people that sent me a message/responded to a message I sent a while ago still showed as offline 3+ days. Not entirely sure how that works but I triple checked and there’s some way around that. I didn’t dig enough to figure it out. SB’s messaging system is also ass - if someone responds it doesn’t jump to the top of your list - you need to find the conversation with them to see their response

Completely agree on the SB messages. I have to scan all my open conversations to look for replies
even on a big screen only the first 7 or so conversations are displayed and you have to scroll down
through the list to find ones that have responded.

It seems to go in waves- I will do a ton of new messages until the responses fizzle out
and go back to the site in a few weeks later when new people have joined.
So there may be a ton of messages to sift thru.

They also have an auto-expire for the conversations after a certain date - so sometimes an old one
will come back. I end up going to my secret picture approvals to figure out who they are sometimes.

Seems like one of those scams where a woman “accidentally” texts you and then tries to talk. Simple questions, e.g., “When would you like to meet?” Are met with long responses like “we will meet when we find an opportune moment as we are on this site to meet in person but have to find the optimal time to do so?” I’m like okay when and where? “We will meet for coffee you can suggest a place and I will have my assistant also suggest a place and we can then select the one that is the best option for us.”

Insane. What’s the actual goal of scams like this? Do they lead to anything? Are there people who actually end up sending money to these girls for something?

Sometimes it's just to get a picture of you. From that picture with some of the facial recognition software out there they can get your actual identity. I posted about my experience in Vegas about a year ago where a scammer did this to me. I removed all of my face pics from the site since that time.

what type of pictures do you post to get around the 4 pic requirement or now every time i logon it says "profile not complete" they cant fine you yet or some crap. this wasn't the case for premium before but now they are pushing this for paying members too...

On SB I don't show my full face in my public pic. My private pics are just normal dating site style pics but I try to be selective for access.

They are mostly for good potential matches to see that I am just a regular guy not a psychopath or anything.

I would not want to verify on SB and have public videos with voice available.

Doesn't stop the messages from coming in.

Another day another scam.

Went back and forth on Tinder a bit with a scammer before I showed them the
Instagram profile that they ripped the pictures off from. Reported them
as if it even matters.

Still chasing a bunch of SB profiles.

The one tonight had bigger balls than me for sure.

After some chit-chat she asked for 2K PPM. I noped out and she came back with 800.
But I politely declined that as well.

The screen will gray out and the popup select an area to search with lens
Grab and highlight the photo from the profile
Adjust the boundary and click find image source

I’ve even tested it with people I actually know/sbs I’ve friended and the reverse image search yields nothing. These photos I just so happened to have been following the influencer for a while and randomly remembered where the pics were from.

I have also run into a few that I did manage to find the original posts, and did not need to expand the boundary - i just searched for original and it worked

Yup. It is totally YMMV. So you can't depend on it 100%.

I just do it automatically when a new match pops up or
if the photos seem a bit too polished.

So I had a great meetup with another SB a few weeks ago - went by the book-
first met her for dinner/drinks in person in public. That went well.

She shook me down for $100 bucks and dinner but I was OK with it because
I felt comfortable enough that we would meet again.

She ended up hosting last week- we spent most of the time talking before even fooling around.
We agreed on a fair PPM for the area (Newark).

I was planning on seeing her in person again next Monday / Tuesday but she texts me
today with an emergency that she needs Venmo right away.

I have fallen for this before - I felt bad for a previous SB that managed to get herself
arrested and sent her daughter bail money. And after that the requests never stopped.

I politely declined this request and she basically freaked out and ended it.

In their mind - a real sugar daddy wouldn't abandon them - if you really cared
you would help them whenever they need it even when they ask for the PPM.

I don't think any of this is totally intentional. A lot of the SBs are in tight
situations so it is usually only a matter of time before something goes
sideways and they try to shake you down for something one way or the other.
Often times they have no other options so they are desperate.

I can also see lateness / flakiness as also being a red flag-
it is tough but you can't ever let your guard down!

So- if anything I am trying to double down after this- in that if its PPM it is
only in person - nothing electronic and nothing after the date.
