ENGLEWOOD, FL - The owner of an Englewood massage therapy business was arrested Wednesday for offering to perform sexual acts on an undercover detective, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.

Michelle XXXXXXXXXX, the owner of Michelle's Therapy, located at 3797 S. Access Road - right across from a preschool - is charged with Deriving Support from the Proceeds of Prostitution and Solicitation to Commit Prostitution.

"I was shocked. I just thought it was a regular massage place," said Patti Petroske, owner of Miss Heidi's Preschool. "That's just nasty."

An investigator set up an appointment at the business after a number of tipsters reported that she had performed sexual acts on her customers, according to an incident report.

XXXXXXXXXXX 36, also advertised as an escort on several websites and blogs regarding her business, the tipsters said.

During the detective's visit, Chamberlain reportedly agreed to give him a "deeper massage" for $65.

As she grabbed the detective, he stopped her and identified himself. Other investigators then rushed in and placed her under arrest.

She was taken to the Charlotte County Jail and later released after posting a $3,500 bond.

In the last six months, deputies have made 14 prostitution arrests at massage parlors and they say they will continue to crack down on others just like them.
