Here in London

It's frigging insane...
the Hobby, or Punting as it's called here, is legal, to a certain extent and little ads are posted over every telephone booth.

The prices are incredibly low, although about the same as the lower level US prices if you want a GFE!

And, Most of the providers rate between a 7 and 10.

One word of warning... Never go into a "Strip club"

I got robbed of £400 in one of those places...

Just going in and talking to the girls constitute legally owning the "house" a bill. They always got a few big guys to beat you down. So, being unarmed, I paid up...

Nothing like getting ripped off in a foreign country. I got the big hustle in Paris ten years ago and I still feel like a fool who should have known better. That's why they say, travel is broadening.

Bring back some of those phonebooth cards if you can. They make great collectibles for your wall. Good for starting conversations when friends come to visit.

Have a great time over there. We're keeping New York City nice and warm for you.

How about trying city-elite.com ?

I found them surfing ny-exotics to a place called ny-elite. I later found out that some bozo here in the US stole their site, but the email link still send email to the site they stole in London!

Anyway, the lady who ran it was really nice.

London can be very expensive

TC...for good value (quality of course varies) check out the areas around St. James square or Shepherds market.

You will see partially open doorways with little handwritten signs saying things like "models one flight up" or the such.

These are independents and since they don't split the fee with an agency they can work for a bit less.

Tank, it's water under the bridge but you shouldn't have paid. What those clubs do is seriously illegal. They'll threaten to call the police to scare you, at which point you say, "great, please do." At which point they throw you out and you haven't paid a dime.

Trust me, it works.

London is a great city for hobbying. Lots of pretty women and lots of nationalities. The only downer is that with the exchange rate it certainly isn't a bargain. Though the safety factor more than makes up for that, in my opinion.

£400 ... yikes ! That's not a trivial amount - very sorry to hear TC. I'll assume this was in Soho. I almost had a similar experience in London - the club was "Sohos Live Girls". I was in there for about 2 minutes when I fortunately remembered an internet review and realized just what kind of place I was in - and left asap.

If you still have funds and time left, I've put up my travelog below in case it might be of use. Two good phone numbers are for Donna and Amma - you will have a choice of girls at these places. All info is quite recent. Linked within are some of the photos I took.

I found London OK as far as price. Not a bargain I agree. A lot of options at the £150/hr range (210 USD). What made it better however was that most of the phone booth card places also had a halfhour option at £100, which is mostly what I went for.

Back to the clubs - I have heard it can go both ways. Sometimes they will let you go, but they can also call the police who will back them up. If they display their rates supposedly its legal, even if you don't happen to see the rates. I spoke to several locals about this. It is a disgrace. Fortunately as I said I got outta there fast before I could find out for myself. Full details in my travelog.

And OH yes, those phone booth cards are great. I brought back a little pile of about 30 cards. I guess its the adult version of the hockey and Charlies Angels cards I once collected as a kid.

they make great postcards as well. "thinking of you" "wish you were here" et cetera.

Well, it was worth the 400...

to get out of there with minimal fuss.

I'm still having lots of fun.

I do a lot of walking and the civilian girls here are hot too, and very friendly.

Been thinking about moving out here, if I could only find a good paying job that requires no work.

Tank, if you have the time you should head up to Edinburgh, Scotland. I was there at the beginning of the month and spent a really fun-filled hour at the London Street Sauna. It is one of the best places I have ever been to. Their website is http://www.londonstreetsauna.com Full massage, steam rooms, and complimentary drinks and adult videos in the rooms. The rooms are also equipped with sinks and showers/hot tubs. I spent 65pounds (about $100) for the hour. Email me and I'll give you more info. I grew up in the UK and lived in London for 6 years before relocating to NYC. My 1st piece of advice would be to AVOID the strip clubs. They are just tourist traps.

There are so many providers in London and yes it is a lot cheaper than NYC. You can get FS for as little as £30($42) and Greek (it is known as A ’Levels in the UK) for around £80 ($120).

In London there are plenty of girls that advertise in the phone boxes. For most up to date information on escort reviews check out punternet (www.punternet.com). It has escort reviews by geographic location. Unfortunately Punternet was not available when I was living in London. If you have some money to spend I suggest you give Pasha escorts a call (www.pasha.com). You can have a gorgeous looking girl for £300($420) and some will speak Greek at no extra charge.

British Airways has a very unique first class section on the overseas flights. Instead of just large seats and more leg room, each "seat" is actually a semi-private cubicle area with a long sofa-like seat, TV and other gadgets and amenities. I only saw this however as my own seat was back in economy.

Great looking girls on those websites. At double the price however (IE. 430 USD/hr). Guess it depends on your preference. Personally I found pursuing the phone card services more of an adventure. And some did have girls of similar quality but at half the price.

TC hope you can post some of your other experiences when you have time - I'm curious if you went with any of the phone cards I remember seeing but didn't get around to trying.

I actually saw a very nice swedish girl...

on my first shot with the phone booth cards.
goes by the name Maria. She's £150, and sweet in her PVC dress. I'm trying to bring her to the States, or at least set up a New York Tour.
Unfortunately, I can't remember which card she was affiliated with. She's supposed to call me sometime today, but I'm sure she thinks I'm just a crackpot and may just as soon not call.

The Stewardess I met is going to be along, drawn out process as she's very,very traditional.

I went to Dunhill today and bought three Romeo and Julieta Torpedo sized cigars. I smoked one while I walked down Bond Street. After about half an hour, I damn near puked and passed out. I thought I was a veteran cigar smoker (13 years) but I guess when it comes to Cubans, I'm a novice.

I actually miss New York and am glad that I'm headed back tomorrow. I hate the fact that I can't caress my AR-15 here. BTW, Peelers here carry Glock 17's...

I have not been in London for over two years and have not dealt with the agency. I think several of the girls were reviewed in punter net (www.punternet.com). If you use the external search facility and do a search on Pasha you should be able to get hold of the field reports. Off the top of my head Caprice, Cara, Emily and Sophie have been reviewed. Incidentally after exchanging an email with the agency I found that Caprice, Cara, Alison, Emily and Marilyn all speak Greek at no extra charge.

I hear ya Tank. I do a bit of normal dating and it's so weird, I am always sitting there at dinner thinking, "Wouldn't this be a hell of a lot easier if I could just hand her a couple hundred bucks and get this show on the road."

But of course it doesn't work that way and one needs to be patient and deal with complete ambiguity with no clues, no information, and more often than not I just say the heck with it.

Does hobbying ruin a guy for dating?
