why don't they just do away with the tolls already

they are universally despised

if NJ still needs the $ they should just add a surcharge on our state tax or auto registration.

I hid my EZ Pass before and it still registered, I was going to get a receipt for paying cash but the scanned found it.

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority (and only that, I would not touch the GSP with a 100 pole or a czech of any sort) does a great job.

Imagine if they needed money from the state and did not have their own! It would all go to junkie rehabilitation or into somebodies in-law's pocket.

ezpass sux, after new years i was coming back and ezpass let me go thru then i get a bill sayin that i went thru red light. i wasnt using my ezpass so i couldnt really do anything about it, for a $3 toll they charged $25 penalty, kind of stupid. same thing happened to my friend (same time) but it was his ezpass so he was able to get it off.
