Just noticed how peculiar that erosny has a section for "For Women"(with 133 provs that offer this service) in the Female escorts section. Now I'm neither a female nor a prov, but it got me curious as to whether or not there are female mongers out there and perhaps why they don't use this message board.

Maybe a prov can chime in and give us an idea of how many female hobbyist they've experienced? Purely out of curiosity.

Unless you want to discuss the quality/discretion issue, all a female monger has to do is dress sexy, go to a bar (or any number of places), hit on a guy, and figure out where to go to get laid. Then again, I'm assuming they are hot, and also have the personality to do that.

I guess there is a segment of the female population that would go the provider route for any number of reasons, but I don't see the market being nearly as big as horny man-pigs.

I understand your logic and I've certainly thought about that as well. The thing is, we can only speculate, unless of course we've met one or two of these "janes".

What if... let's say she's hot but she's looking for something more than just sex? Or what if, she's looking for a woman? I've never met a Jane before, but I have seen some pretty hot looking women go to (female) strip clubs.

I'm guessing there is a demographic for them. Just don't know much about them.

the more obvious reasons for why a woman would hire a provider are as follows:

1) She wants ZERO drama, meeting dudes / chicks at bars in the civilian world all come with high drama potential (and rejection potential).

2) Curiosity and experimentation with someone who is likely more "expert" than her.

3) Discretion, similar to #1, she wants her experimentation to be a closely guarded secret.

4) The "thrill" of the taboo - escorts are a whole world that is "off-limits" to most women.

There are definitely m4m providers, usually listed as masseurs on CL (or were before the new changes), but it was obvious that there was more than massage involved. Whether these, or w4w providers would be truly homosexuals, or bisexuals, or just experimenting is not something I can answer, although I generally would think of the w4w crowd as lesbian rather than "female homosexual". To me it's semantics, but there might be a true literal difference. Not my linguistic specialty.

On a similar note, what is the classification of seeing a tranny (for either a male or female)? Again, not something I know.
