Its simple, you book American Airlines which is around $400 to Puerto Plata or $318 to Santiago. I can list 4 hotels ranging from $28 to $45 all of which are 5 minutes from each other and anyone can meet there or fly in with me. Very simple.


For October there will be 20 mongers in Sosua during the month!!!

La Romana, Dominican Republic

Is there any action in the La Romana, area in the Dominican Republic? I am going to visist via a cruise and we are scheduled to stop there for one day. Most of what i have seen on the internet is focused on Boca Chica. Thanks

La Romana has a ton of action...Are you actually staying the day? Most ships to La Romana send the guests off to Catalina Island, and the ships are only in port for 10 hours or so. Anyway, if you have the option, don't go to the island, hop a cab to the middle of town, the rest will be obvious.

In La Romana I would highly recommend a club called El Deseo. My driver took me to a few small clubs in the town but they were nothing in comparison to this place. El Deseo is on the outskirts of La Romana on the main road coming in from Santiago. Just past a Shell gas station. Long pink metal gate with a good size parking lot in front. Blue swordfish on the roof. Oval sign up on a pole in front with Night Club (in blue) El Deseo (in pink). The girl and dance pole on the sign should clue in even the casual observer that there are girls here.

I went to El Deseo on two consecutive evenings and had a blast. Huge dancing floor, bar and lounge area. Each night 15-20 girls. Several 6s & 7s, some 8s and a couple 9s. Not too crowded at all when I went so plenty of selection and the girls all eager to be your companion. The rooms in back are OK but not the greatest. Better to take a cab back to your hotel.

Wednesday October 16,2003:

Well I arrived on time via Santiago and its a packed house in Sosua. checked into The Palace, which is very good shape after a major earthquake 2 weeks ago, and Breastman and his 2 buddies were there. Pesos at Judy's were 34.60 to the Dollar today. There were chicas in and out all day and some new ones as well. I will get pictures tomorrow. Seems like the day place to hang will be the Palace. Soronji, Yenni, and Mercedes were a few on hand. Later on Bronco checked in. SantiagoJeff arrived later in the day as usual. I got my first massage today for the usual 300 pesos. Went over to The Blue Dolphin Bar and hung with Mav. Bbuyer is staying there. Later on BPL and his 2 buddies were there. The Playoffs are on every TV in this town. I walked around town and there are chicas everywhere to be had. Over at the 4 Roses I saw EMRcools gang and Raider who are staying at The Europa. Mav and I hit The Villa Chessa Bar and Grill and had a few drinks. They have a restaurant that closes at 10PM. I passed Ant and his buddy roaming the streets of Sosua. Mongers everywhere!!! went to Leo and got my $1.80 haircut as usual.
I hit High Caribe and there were lots of chicas there as well but not that many pretty ones at 12PM. There was a steady flow of motor conches bringing in chicas to The Caribe. I saw a very hot chica by Residential that wanted 2,000 pesos for a short stay. I believe she needed spending money on top ofher Western Union payments.

Friday October 17, 2003
Started the day with Mav drinking coffee. Expecting about adozen new mongers today in Sosua. They are staying at The Palace and The Europa.
Its World Series week and all TVs in town on the Games. If you wantto hang with other mongers, we will be at Villa Chessa Bar or Blue Dolphin Bar. A few nights we will head into Puerto Plata after the game. It was another good day here. I went swimming, got another massage. Tampabukke arrived and we hung at Sexy Lady then Mav, him and I hit VillaChessa Bar we we played with their hot waitresses for an hour. They are major teases and we made dates for later on and they never showed. Wow who would have thought that!
Big D is back in town again.
I hot Sosua beach which was slow and cruised the town. A few chicas stopped and caught my eye but I kept on moving. I saw that chica from Club Residential and bought her back to my room for a shortie stay for 750 pesos. I shot it in her mouth, she was a real trooper. Kwiz arrived and Mav, him and our chicas hit the casino. Very interesting day.

Saturday October 18, 2003
Started the day with Mav drinking coffee. Breakfast at Villa Chessa, price fix 80 pesos, French Toast, coffee and Juice. Got to play with Silvia the waitress again. More mongers coming in today again, three from NY. Got my favorite motoconch, drove to Sosua, along the way saw a hot 19 year old Haitian,back to my room, a photo shoot and BJ 200 pesos. NICE!!!! Hung around the pool with Kwiz, Ant and his buddy. On hand were Blausi, Mercedes, Soronji, Ana, and 2 other chicas. Very pleasant afternoon here. Later on the 2 Canadians that were staying at Casa Marina came by and did Soronji and Ana.
Went with Breastman and crew to Rockys for Ribs which were slow, cheap and good. About 10 of us were hanging at Blue Dolphin Bar. Memos hangs there now. Cobra arrived from Santo Domingo and we hit High Caribe,which had very few hotties, and Latina club,with 2 that I wanted, which were both packed with chicas. Prices from Crystals seem to be around $100 per night these days.

Sunday October 19, 2003
Went to Mora Mai for breakfast, Cobra, Emrcool, Russian dude and our chicas. Back to Palace fora swim, which had in attendance, Soronji, Blausi and Yenni.
Yesterday was an easy day. Lots of hanging at The Blue Dolphin, many Americans, English and Canadians passing thru there. Hung most of the day at The Palace as well and many coming by there as well. Donnylad arrived, staying at Voramar came by. The MadRussian, staying at Club Residential, where a/c is $5 extra per day came by ase wll as the mongers from Europa.
There now is a group of 13 mongers from NY taking up most of the Palace and they are in and out all day with chicas. They are not from the internet but are very friendly.
Mr Video arrived from Ohio, and will be living here for 3 months. There are many mongers coming for extended stays.

Monday October 20, 2003
Had my breakfast at The Europa with Kwiz. The single traveler arrived as did MH1592. We hung at Blue Dolphin where there were about 4 different chicas hanging out there during the night as well as I got another massage and this time after going there 30 times I looked at the name of the place and its called "M & M" The Palace where there were 10 chicas at a few points in the day. Carmen and a few chicas from The Flamingo were there for a while. Dinner at The Bolgna with MH and there were a few NY Fireman there as well. Heading home I saw a chica walking and gave her a ride back to her place. She needed some dinero but said she would give the services tomorrow, so I said I would return tomorrow then. Joannie was working at the bar next to Isle de Pizloa, so I stoped and bothered her a bit as well.
I saw Marosol around town as well. There are lots of chicas around if you take the time to look for them. The ones I knew that I saw would give 500 peso short time prices to me, which is not really that bad.

Hey Jimydr or Allen - I noticed the exchange rate is now 1 USD = 34.85 DOP. That's about 30% higher than a year ago I think. Is this translating into even better deals in DR for the hobbiest or do the girls / services just raise the rates ?

My first hobbying experience in Dominican Republic was not a happy one.

Actually I went to D.R. with my wife for a 5-day vacation, but having read about the opportunities to hobby in D.R. on this board and others, I had decided to try to sneak out one day on my own and get a taste of the Chicas.
Our first stop was in Santo Domingo. We were staying in an upscale hotel downtown. After a day of sight-seeing and dining, we went back to the hotel where they had a casino, and a piano-bar advertising live entertainment. We wanted to watch the live band, but found out that the show had been postponed because they were showing the playoff game on the big screen TV. Baseball takes priority in D.R. My wife decided that she did not want to watch the game and preferred to go to the room to rest. I saw this as my opportunity and told her that I was going to watch the game, and then gamble a little in the casino.
I noticed that there were two young girls going around the bar, getting drinks from older gentlemen that were by themselves, but the guys were more interested in watching the game that in the girls. Another attractive girl came into the bar wearing a mini-dress. After having a drink at the bar, she walked out. I followed her, approached her and asked her if she wanted some company. I do speak Spanish fluently, so that made the conversation easy. She said yes, and asked for USD $60. I told her that I could not take her up to my room, since my wife was there (my first mistake). Later on I found out that I would have had to pay a USD $40. hotel registration fee to bring her to my room. She then explained that we could go to a cabana about 15 minutes away, and that would cost me about 300 pesos (USD $9.), plus cab fare. Instead of negotiating the fee, I started negotiating services. She first said only CBJ, but I got her to agree to BBBJ. I knew that I had limited time before my wife became alarmed with my absence, so I accepted the terms and went with her. She hailed the cab, which was waiting just outside the hotel. The driver was a young guy who seemed to be friends with the girl. It is difficult to tell a licensed taxi from a gipsy-cab in Santo Domingo. For all I know the driver may have been her pimp. She began telling me that the 300 pesos cabanas were not too good, and that we should go to the ones that const 600 pesos. I insisted in not paying more than the 300 pesos. I began to get nervous, and she noticed it. Another mistake was to give her too much information. She realized that I was completely unfamiliar with the city.
The cabanas look like a single story motel, with garages attached to each room. The taxi pulled directly into a garage that was open. I did not see an office. She told me that she would take care of paying for the room and the driver, to just give her the money. She then told the driver to wait for us in the garage, and we walked into the room directly from the garage. The room looked nice and clean, comfortable and spacious, with a bathroom. I gave her the money. She then asked for more money for the cab, and was trying to bump-up the fee for extra services. I was getting scared, thinking that I was being trapped. I couldn’t believe that I had allowed myself to get into the situation. All I could think about was the driver walking in with a weapon and taking my wallet and clothes, and leaving me stranded, and how was I going to explain this to my wife. I ended giving her USD $100 total, and I thought that I was going to get Greek as part of the deal.
The phone rang and she picked up. I believe it was the management asking for the room fee, because she proceeded to open a small trap door on the wall and deposited the money there.
We undressed and began the session. No kissing allowed. The BBBJ was brief and rushed. She did allow DATY, and actually seemed to enjoy it. She was trying to get me off as fast as possible. Every time I told her to relax and get into a position, she did it for a few seconds, and then turned around; I was almost wrestling with her. We finally put the cover on and I finished after trying 2 different positions. No Greek. At that point I just wanted to get it over with and get back to my hotel ASAP. The whole session lasted some 15 minutes. I did tell her how dissatisfied I was with her service. We got dressed, and the driver took us back to the hotel. I did not say a word in the way back. I was just glad to be back safely.

Next stop in our vacation:

My wife and I traveled to Boca Chica where we stayed in an all-inclusive resort. On our last day there my wife wanted to lay on the beach, and I told her that I preferred to rent a bike and ride it around town. I had done research about the brothels in Boca Chica, so I knew exactly where to go. All the places were within a mile of my hotel. I first went to Pattaya, but no one answered the door. Next I went to Casa Blanca, where some girls greeted me at the door. I asked about services provided and prices, and they pulled out a menu, with prices listed for each type of service: massage, HJ, etc. FS was about USD $75. I told them that I would come back later. Next I rode to Casa Rosada. I walked into a small living room where about 6 girls surrounded me. I asked about prices, and again they pulled out a menu with prices listed in dollars. FS was $80, or $100 to take the girl out. I negotiated the price down to $60 with a girl that looked like the most attractive, but only CBJ. Every one was listening to the conversation, so it was embarrassing to discuss these details. I knew that this would be my last chance in D.R. so I agreed and gave her the money. We went into a small room with a floor fan. No AC. It had a high and narrow massage table. This was very uncomfortable for two people. She gave me a rub-down, paying a lot of attention to my genitals. No kissing allowed. I traded places with her and caressed and kissed her body. Now we both got on the table. She continued with a quick CBJ, and immediately jumped into a cowgirl position. We switched positions to doggie for the completion. Not a very satisfying experience.

Lessons learned from my brief experience:

Hookers are abundant and readily available in D.R. so it is a buyer’s market. In Boca Chica they hang outside some bars after 9:00 PM, in large numbers, and they are aggressive. At one point I was approached by one chica while I was waiting for my wife outside of a souvenir shop. But be aware as they are hustlers. Negotiate everything before any money is exchanged. Bargain hard. Become familiar with the currency so that you don’t have to pull out a calculator every time you want to negotiate prices. Knowing some Spanish is a big plus. Get a hotel where you can bring the girl to your room so that you are in control. Let her know that you are a potential repeat customer if she does a good job.

prices have gone up in the good houses a bit, but not nearly as much as the currency devaluation...

glad to see you had a good time here...next time, try staying away from B.C. and hotel hookers, find a good looking girl in a disco or bar, just invite her to dinner, negotiate nothing...I think you'll be surprised.
