Costa Rica Info?

#1
If you only had 2 days in San Jose what would you do? Not interested in doing any non-hobby tourist things (accept gambling). I Would appreciate any advice on the best areas to stay. Looking for a nice hotel (4 Star) close to the fun.

Thanks

Nice whorehouse in Jaco

Jaco is a beach town out west of San Jose. Beautiful women there. The beach itself is kinda sub par by CR standards, but still nice and mellow.

The coast is generally beautiful, so if you can find snatch outside of the city... do so. The women are not as jaded (also it seems that there are a lot of she-males in San Jose). And some will fool you!

As far as the bordello in Jaco - you can't miss it with the neon signs and dancers next to a motel. Prostitution is legal there, so it's easier to get info.

There is a newspaper - the "Tico Times", as well as the world sex guide and some other stuff. Rent a car, drive around, talk to the locals.

San Jose and Jaco

Went to both places this past year. Went to San Jose in January for about a week. I stayed at the hotel Del Ray, and recoomend it highly. Its room are adequate, not luxurious, though the best part is that it has the Blue Marlin Bar. There are working women at the bar 24/7, though the evenings have the greatest numbers and selection. You can't walk through the bar at night without at least 2-3 girls grabbing for your crotch. Hotel also has gambing tables and sportsbook on site. Across the street is the back entrance to the Key Largo bar, occasional live band, and working women. Also recommend New Fantasy massage. Much cheaper than the bar women plus a massage and suana before the main event.

Jaco is about a 2 hour drive from SJ. Many hotels, women were found mostly at the Beetle Bar every day of the week, though friday and saturday had the hottest ones. Usually on the weekend had about 30, weekdays anywhere from 5-15. Also La Central disco had women, but I never made it there.

Hope this helps, need anymore details just ask.

Thanks for the input. I’m definitely planning on checking out the Blue Marlin. Jaco is not an option. I have 2 days in San Jose before meeting up with friends for a fishing trip (real fishing). Is the action in San Jose centrally located or spread out?

map

I think number 10 -Arte y Sauna is closed, if my source are correct. I don't see New Fantasy on the map, but if you catch a cab from the Del Ray during the day, the cabbie will know where it is. Just be warned, some cabbies will try to take you to another "better place", some places give kickbacks to the cabbies for bringing in customers.

By the way, the fishing out of Quepos is great! Caught a couple of sailfish my first time out, and a huge black marlin the second time. good luck.
