They are just doing this because of election
Nope.
Has nothing to do with the election.

As I have posted in this thread: "As I posted before — the situation isn't sustainable. "

The situation where regular people are trying to live their lives, doing their daily business buying food or whatever or just going to a restaurant for lunch along Roosevelt and having to run a gauntlet of prostitutes openly soliciting every male walking by, simply could not continue — especially once the local press was showing exactly what was going on.

It's not like this was happening just along 1 block (that people could just avoid) but it was all along Roosevelt.

All news I've read said ZERO arrests on Roosevelt busts.
Gave girls counseling information
Yup. Zero, nada, keiner. No prostitution or no patronizing a prostitute arrests.

Now consider this:
Big Apple subway fare-evasion arrests skyrocketed 132% in 2023, to 4,917 compared to 2,121 in 2022, reflecting the NYPD's increased commitment to tackling turnstile jumpers and stopping the havoc they cause

And consider this:
Which costs the city more $ : turnstile jumpers or open air solicitation for prostitution.

And then consider this:
Which affects dramatically the quality of life for residents of Jackson Heights: turnstile jumpers or open air solicitation for prostitution. Coming from the 7 train from high school, students shouldn't expect to encounter sex workers on virtually every block of the walk home

Moral to this post for UG mongers: if you want to avoid getting arrested in Jackson Heights do not be a turnstile jumper but patronizing a prostution is ok.

Well, you were right you said it was an untenable situation

The interesting thing about this story is that the AMPs were shutdown to a newly enacted public nuisance law. Not prostitution, or “massage without a license”, no building or fire code violations.

To re-open the AMP the owner somehow needs to prove that they are not a nuisance. There are no violations to fix. I wonder if this “fuzzy” law will stand.

What was the nuisance? The girls standing in front calling out to possible customers? A large number of customers walking in and out? What if the girls no longer stand in front of the store trying to drag mongers in?

It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out.

frumpy karens in sexless marriages hardest hit.
Frumpy Karen's are sexual providers of a different type. They play a long term game to become girlfriens and wives and cash in in long term benefits as access to your wallet, gifts, free shows and entertainment free meals, free trips, etc. By them eliminating the "op" meaning "opposition" (for all of you using the term wrong) they can achichieve their nefarious plan to become relevant as a source of relief and entertainment at the higher cost of our freedom and mental sanity. We must decide our options but know there will be no turning back for the monger!
